Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, Where the deer and the antelope play
Instead of patting its head again the lemur tried patting its neck while it was bent over panting. The deer's skin twitched at the touch and he could hear it grunt but there was no other adverse reaction. Well, that was certainly an improvement but he still had a long ways to go with this wild creature. While it was still tired the male turned and gave his companion a one armed hug --still had to keep his other hand on the lasso lest the stag get any ideas-- for her help. "Thank ya so much, Miss Cayenne! I couldn't'a done it without ya!" He laughed out loud with joy before turning his attention back to the stag. A name, eh? Hmm... Only one seemed to fit.
"What about Buckthorn? Ya think that's a good'un?" In any case it was about time they got off of the poor stag, he seemed like he was going to collapse at any moment. Still holding onto the lasso the lemur reached around and grabbed Cayenne about her middle then he easily lifted her up and then off of the blue-gray stag. The creature seemed to start for a moment, threatening to bolt but then it's exhaustion crept up again and it placidly stood there while Tenn tugged on the rope to lead it back to the fence while the sleepy and confused does followed.
