Upon entering Tunnel O, one might hear a strange sound. Several shifting feet and... gobbling? Yes, surely it is! Closer inspection reveals a small group of TURKEYS!? Five of these birds stand in a group, their dull brown feathers blending mostly into the room with the exception of their blue, gemmy crops. If you listen closely, you might be able to hear what they're saying... Of course, they would also provide a easy and hearty meal for you...

Note: You may choose to harm or not harm the turkeys.

Ok, I'm not mod status, though this was approved by Madster. I'll be checking on these, but you can tag me instead of reporting it to the GM since that's not me! I've been told there will be achievement rewards. <3

What the hell was that? Ghost was in polaris when he heard the sound coming from the near by tunnel. It startled him and at first and he froze, but after a few seconds of silence, ghost decided to follow the sound. Normally, he wouldnt go towards the possible danger, but today he felt... Brave.

He really didnt feel good about it though. His every instinct told him to get away from the sound. He walked on his toes, his fur raised and his body lowered to the ground. Keeping himself against the wall of the tunnel, he hoped he was out of the sound makers sight.

Strange noises filled here auds, drawing her attention until her paws were carrying her through the Tunnel. Dual colored eyes searched the area, scenting the air as she continued her search. It wasn't long beefore a new scent caught her attention on top of one vrey unfamiliar. Another wolf was here. A wolf she had never seen or smelled before. It was in that moment that Rae lost her site of what she was here for only for a short while. It was only a few more steps before white fur filled her gaze and audits pricked up into attention. Though, just pass the white pelted canine there was a group of birds. Large and covered in brown feathers.

She crept up closer, lowering her head as she stared with curiosity. "So, you think they're food...or something similar to us?" She spoke up, bringing herself closer to the white wolf hoping she would not startle him in having crept up behind him. Her gaze swept towards the white wolf before looking back towards the birds that kept making such a weird sound.

The cowboy was gone off somewhere, so Derby was as well! The little fawn decided it was time to explore a little and see what was beyond all those pretty blue rocks. The first new room he'd discover was Tunnel O... but of course, he didn't know the name. He just knew that it was very damp and humid. Derby shuddered as a fever chill rushed through his small form, small hooves making a gentle click! click! rhythm on the few stones that jutted out of the rather loose earth.

Dark chocolate eyes took in the sights with clear curiosity, little sabre fangs glinting in the dim light. Gobble gobble! Such a peculiar sound! Derby slowed his pace, stalking among the soil, blending in quite well. There were great big things on four feet and covered in fur, just like he was! But they didn't look like anything he'd ever seen! They were definitely not deer... and not lemurs like the cowboy and cowgirl! When they talked, he could see big sharp teeth. They must eat meat! his thoughts proclaimed proudly. But then his focus was turned to the group of weird things. Now, they definitely didn't have fur. They had wrinkly little faces and spoke in a weird language that not even Derby had heard before.

Curious, he tried to mimic the sound. Yet, his attempts were futile. It came as a quite loud GAWWBLE GAWBBLE! Surely he would be scaring away the turkeys! This was bad.

On occasion, Calypso wandered a little bit from her home. Enna was still stircrazy, the fragment of Ratchet still driving them all a bit nuts. Being the responsible one, she took hold and sought a bit of quiet, alone time without all of the fuss of being a leader. It was a difficult job, but she handled things so much better than poor Enna, who could be whipped up into a tizzy with just a few sickly words from the poisoner.

The sound of gobbles drew her attention to a small group gathered in the tunnel just outside of Pisces and she landed near Arkrael and Ghost, eyes bright. She tilted her head, though at first she didn't speak-- she was no hunter, but she was curious what the two wolves were doing with a bunch of strange looking birds. She knew of Arkrael's reputation, a rather powerful and courageous canine-- one that her groupmates considered a friend.

She reached out with her white sense, trying to get a feel for the strange flock, and simply watched as a young deer wandered a bit closer to the turkeys, trying to communicate with them. She stifled a snicker, clearing her throat before speaking directly to Ghost and Arkrael.

"So," Calypso peeped, "what's all this, then?"

Others arrived to investigate the sound, but a canid was first. An unfamiliar one, so he kept himself pressed into the wall, blankly staring at the birds. Other things arrived, but he wasnt sure who or what they were, but one sounded like a bird.

i have no idea... Do they look scary? he turned to arkrael then, staring at her with blank, cloudy eyes. He followed her voice to find her location, but the others he couldnt place. He just hoped none of them were visible to the sound makers so they would retaliate against them, regardless of what they were.

Surprisingly, the turkeys simply turned in confusion, scrutinizing the small fawn. Their heads tilted back and forth, and Derby decided he'd do the same. So he stood there, tilting his head to their rhythm. Derby lowered his head non-threateningly, and lay down, gangly limbs tucked neatly beneath his body, and he continued to tilt his head back and forth, mustering a small gobbling noise like the turkeys. Hopefully it sounded better than the first one.

But no, it came out as another loud and raucous cry. "GAWBLE! GAWBLE!" He quickly skittered away, hoping that it would show the turkeys that he meant no harm.

Arkrael watched quietly as others begin to show up to investigate the new creatures. A strange deer with fangs had went up to them, attempting to make the same sound as they did and Arkrael eyed the thing with a scowl. Soon a voice drew her attention back towards the wolf beside her and shee turned her gaze to look upon the milky white optics. Her ears splayed out instantly the moment she realized this wolf was blind and she had not taken time to notice it before. She cleared her throat, almost nervously, before turning her gaze towards the birds once more. "No, they are not frightening. They're just brown feathered looking birds about the size of...maybe a medium sized dog?" Her eyes squinted at the birds thoughtfully before her fur ruffled.

Just looking at the creatures caused a hunger to begin grasping at her empty stomach. Audits pinned forward as her eyes began to train on the birds. She waited as the fanged deer spoke to them again before she finally decided that these creatures did not seem to be able to talk. If they did, then they certainly were hiding it. Either way. They were free meals! And this she-wolf was rather hungry! So, with a low rumble in her chest Arkrael suddenly sprinted at the birds, hoping to catch one in her fangs and have her a nice little snack.
