There was just something about Orion. It held a strange, almost mystic beauty... but also a tinge of fear. Like there was more to this place than just the crumbling buildings, or the sparkling ceiling. Perhaps she was making it up in her own mind... perhaps not. She was alone as she made her way down a winding trail. It was late, and she was more or less doing nothing. Walking. Exploring. Her stomach didn't ache for food and her legs didn't ache to rest, so what else was there to do besides... go?

Lux was bored. Maybe the life of a wanderer was wearing her down. Or maybe nothing exciting had happened lately. The gal couldn't imagine that settling down and staying in one place could be any fun. Maybe when she was older... but not yet today.

As she moved, there was a glint that caught her eye. The hyena paused in mid-step, head cocking in that direction for a moment as she scanned for what caught her attention. She could just faintly see something... blue? Or maybe she was just imagining it. Either way, she couldn't help but be curious and draw closer.

Beside one of the broken buildings, under some rubble, it appeared like there was something. Quickly, Lux's paws scooped and dug at the crumbling stone, uncovering what looked like a long, circular set of stones. At first glance, it appeared to be jewelry, perhaps? But no, looking closer... she could tell that this jewelry was something special. It radiated, called out to her even. Lux didn't understand why, not yet.

But in that moment, the hyena woman knew that it was hers. It would always be hers.

Using a paw, she nudged the stone formation upwards a bit, to the point where she could get her nose looped under it. It was heavier than she anticipated, but she was determined. This was Hers and she wasn't about to leave it behind without a fight. She tossed her head back then, moving it further onto her head, stretching and angling so that the stone slipped around her head and onto her neck.

As she raised her head, shaking it a bit to adjust the new necklace, she couldn't help but feel powerful continuing on her path.
