Her eye remained fixated on the parts of her feline companion that she could see in the dim lighting, that being the white stripes running along the golden pelt. For a moment, her confusion echoed around her mind like chimes as Sabor slowed his pace, seeming cautious for a moment, her nails clicking faintly against the frozen ground of the tunnel as her attention drifted along the side, ears angling forward to catch the sounds of other gembounds.

"Come on, it seems saf-" Words cut off with what sounded like the cracking of ice, her words remained caught in her throat as the tiger charged ahead, the water just barely visible in her line of sight as she scurried under her companion, nails digging into the ground of the tunnel to keep herself steady with the added stability of Sabor's form bracing against the rushing tide.

As the water finally dwindled down to a tolerable level, the bear rolled free from her 'cage' glancing at Sabor in silent concern.

"You alright, Sabor?"

"Speech"
He had braced against the water, acting as a buffer for Tolani who had scurried beneath him. The torrent lasted for only a few seconds. The water passing through the two young gembounds. After all had passed his bear companion rolled out from under his protection. Staring at him, her words asking if he was alright. Checking over himself he let out a chuckle.

"Never been better! If you are ok lets push forward!"

A quick shake of his coat he quickly disposed of the freezing water that still clung to his pelt. Waiting patiently for Tolani's response before pressing forward.

@Tolani

Her attention remained on the feline as he looked himself over, and let out a chuckle, her head tilting slightly as she leaned back to try and crane her neck over Sabor's back. Checking for injuries just in case he was deciding to act all 'high and mighty' to hide something from her.

"Never been better! If you are ok lets push forward!" Sabor had practically purred at her, shaking the droplets of water that remained stubbornly clinging to his pelt.

"Alright, if you insist." the cub sighed, shaking her head slightly before bounding after her excited companion.
