((OOC: New here, first post...))
The crystal cracked and shifted. It was located just along the bank, the current almost touching the bottom. It shifted again, away from the edge, thankfully. A crack ran along its surface, then another. It cracked, the sound soft, but existent. Suddenly, it cracked apart, revealing the gembound inside. The pieces fell to either side, slightly glowing. A small white creature bounced to the ground, whimpering slightly. It slowly outstretched itself revealing a white wolf pup. Her piercing blood eyes looked around curiously, blinking slowly. Her large paws bumbled for a footing on the slippery riverbanks, and she looked around, lonely. A whimper rang out through the air, she tumbled into a laying down position, landing snout first. Her left ear flopped downwards, and she snorted in defeat. She got to her paws slowly, Red Spinel stone over her heart pulsing a little brighter with the effort. She looked around, searching for another gembound.
He had wandered away from his home in Eridanus for the time being. His father had given him a mission, one that would not only make him a Good Dog but it would also make him better at his duty back at home with Mama Arkrael too. He remembered the descriptions of the tunnels that his father had given him and even as he traveled he was able to make a very accurate map in his head. Still he had not wandered very far and he had a lot explore before his mental map was perfected.
Now he was in this new area with glowing crystals and strange rock monsters. It was different but he took it all in with hi blank golden eyes staring about. One staring from the outside probably wouldn't think it, but Zariel's mind was like a sponge when it saw new information.
Upon his walking through the cave he saw something new. A broken red stone with a white shape near it. Never before had Zariel seen another gem hatch so this was a new thing. He stated for a moment as he processed this information before he approached. His eyes then laid upon a white creature with the shape of his mother. Was this a new family member? Most likely. The pup was pleased so he gave a slight twitch of his tail and the corners of his mouth turned upwards for the briefest of seconds but these were the only indicators of his joy as his eyes continued to be blank.
After a few moments he finally figured out what he wanted to say and asked in a quiet but clear voice, "Are you the sister of Zariel?" His head gave the slightest of tilts to the left but he was certain of her relation to him. Why else would she gave white fur and a shape like he, his mother, and his father?

((OOC: Question, how do you know when you've been tagged?))
Ruana whirled around to face the new arrival, almost tripping over herself in the process. She thought about the words for a minute, before tilting her head to the side. "Za-ri-el?" She asked, confused. "Who?"
@Zariel
((When you get a tag from someone it'll PM you and you see the PM on the space above the boards.. If that's making sense to you?))
Zariel watched impassively as the other canine whirled to see him. He didn't laugh when she almost tripped. No. He instead took a step forward so if she should actually fall he could help her.She seemed confused at his name so to help her understand the white dog lifted a paw to touch his chest and then say, "Zariel." To indicate himself. "The white wolf is like Zariel and his kin. She must be related to Zariel because of it." He said, giving his reasoning.
@Ruana
((Not quite... I didn't see it this time))
The little pup blinked in understanding.
"You're... Zariel?" Her expression furrowed. "So... I'm, Zariel kin?" She seemed to roll the name around in her mouth. Her tail flipped a bit. "Za-Ri-El." She mouthed it. Then looked back up at Zariel.
"So you're, my kin?" She still seemed to have trouble speaking. Attempting to stand up again she stumbled a bit, but ultimately prevailed, standing shakily.

The white wolf stared at him. She seemed to be mulling over the question.
"Yes!" She finally said. "White wolf, Zariel's kin." She confirmed. She looked around her for the second time, as if wondering where he came from. She looked for entrances, and finally spotted a few. "Where do... Does, Zariel live" She asked. While waiting for a reply she tried walking back and forth, getting used to her paws. She used her tail to steady herself a few times almost falling over, and soon got the hang of it. She looked back to him for the answer.
The little pup blinked in surprise.
"Mama, Arkrael?" She wagged her tail. "Yes! Want to meet Mama Arkrael!" She smiled, popping up to her feet when Zariel turned away. She stumbled after him, small legs covering little ground. She bounded after Zariel, happy thoughts of meeting more white wolves filling her head.
