YIN had simply followed the water here. It had taken some time before she could fully tear herself away from the Crystal River, though the presence of the terrifying golems had definitely helped. But in pulling away from her natural element, her other half had begun to come out more and more. Not that this was a bad thing, per se. But always, he was pushing her to do things she wouldn’t normally do – to be more active and outgoing. She was friendly enough, as just herself, but he insisted she move around and explore other areas besides her beloved river.
YANG walked along the wet tunnel, watching his breath fog up in front of him. He didn’t much care for the water like Yin did, but he didn’t hate it. He just preferred drier, hotter places. But were there places like that? He supposed other parts of Polaris were hotter and drier, but… there were cold little drops of white stuff falling from everywhere. They delighted Yin, but he just found them to be annoying. Though trying to eat them was fun! He lunged forward and closed his mouth around a cluster of the cold little specks. Yep. Fun indeed!
