The time to strike was now. They had found Amaria's child, Cure, safe and sound in the hands of Arkrael. Arkrael, thankfully, had managed to tear her from the evil stag's grasp and brought her back to good health. The child would return to Amaria and Cancer's care before long, but before even that, Leon had to ensure that no more children would fall before the stag's fury. More importantly, he had to make sure that Hasira was indisposed by the time his own children hatched. He couldn't run the risk of him finding them. He couldn't suffer through what Amaria had - the pain, that agony, that creeping anxiety and the fear that something terrible, something unspeakable, had happened. Leon would make sure it never would.
The plan to attack Hasira, though, was met with less support than it seemed either of them had hoped for. The Gembounds of Origin Cave were still blissfully placated. No such tragedy had befallen them, so he feared they lacked the drive. What ambition could push them to match senseless violence with senseless violence, when it wasn't them who had faced that pain? He gritted his teeth. They should know better than to allow such a villain to rampage through the cave. They should know better, that Hasira was a creature of evil. He would go to great lengths to exact his ideal, even if it meant harming children. In a way, he resented the ones that stood by, passively watching and unwilling to dirty their paws. He took offense to it - how could you sit by and let this happen, how could you risk my children too?
It would all be over soon, though. Arkrael had organized them and sent them in the right direction, though it didn't take much to guess where Hasira would be hiding. He had tainted Orion, and even traveling through the tunnel from Pisces the bear could detect the earthy smell of mulch and fertilizer that had begun to stink the starry city room. His pursed lips had turned into a frown, and he glanced over his shoulder at his companions. Three against one. With Amaria and Cancer, Leon was certain they would be able to destroy the stag. They had to.
They barged into Orion, they didn't care to hide their approach. He was loud, his lips curled in a snarl of war. Those orange eyes alight like fire. He would pay for what he had done - he would come to see the consequences of harming innocent children and the ones Leon loved. The bear charged in amongst the buildings and rose to his hind legs, cracking his jaws open. In a single breath, he erupted in a shattering howl, "HASIRA!" He roared, "COME OUT, YOU COWARD! WE WON'T TOLERATE YOUR TERROR ANY LONGER!" and he stood, waiting.
@Cancer @Amaria @Hasira (Hasira's kids can probably come in once Hasira is well and truly beaten up to chase Leon, Amaria and Cancer away)
