A cocky smirk reached across his features as he watched the drake go rolling backwards from his attack, but it slowly vanished into a snarl when the drake only smirked right back at him. Insufferable asshole. Fur bristled when he watched the dragon ascend into the air and he moved, drawing Baratheon's attention away from the spire where his two children were. Whatever attack he was planning he did not want the Chrysali to be in the path of it.

The dragon lunged down and slammed into the ground. The ground shook beneath his paws instantly and it was all Damian could do to keep on his feet. He stumbled to and fro, snarling as he fought to keep his footing, but as he began to slip up his wings instantly snapped open and with a quick beat against the air he was sent flying up into the air and off of the rumbling ground. HHe snarled as he called his magic instantly. Perhaps making the area dark would begin to give him the upper hand. Baratheon was no wolf so Damian hoped that if this attempt did work that he would not be able to track Damian in it via smelling.

Alas, nothing came and all Damian could do was snarl and just dive bomb at Baratheon. Hoping that he could at least sink some fangs if not claws into the beast below him.

The dragon watched as the werewolf stumbled around and doggedly tried to keep his balance. Baratheon's eye remained locked on the creature as it stumbled and then when it finally leaped into the air to get away from the attack Baratheon lifted his own wings, ready to become airborne as well. The dragon growled as he watched the werewolf in the sky, careful to keep his good eye on the creature.

It was while he was watching that he saw the lycanthrope dive at him from the sky. Baratheon reacted in an instant and attempted to launch himself from the ground and into the air, dodging the werewolf's attack. He managed to dodge the brunt of it, slipping over Damian's head but he could feel a few claws puncture his shoulder, spilling a little blood from the wound.

He continued on past Damian and let loose a challening roar daring the wolf to come after him.

Though Damian's first idea to turn the room black as a void it seems his second strategy to try and get some claws into the drake landed a hit. All four paws slammed into the ground as the dragon burst up into the air and Damian snarled as he craned his head back and stared up at the drake. He would put him back to the ground! With that in mind Damian launched himself right back into the air. His wings beating heavily to lift his weight into the air. He shot above the dragon before he made to dive at him again, willing his magick to work and help him shove the drake right back to the ground.

The dragon continued to flap his wings, soaring over the vast landscape of the rocky caverns. He dared to look back once and at first saw nothing but then he felt the blast of force that pushed him to the ground. That sneak had come up on his blind side and he was now forced to land abruptly.

He gave a grunt of pain as his scaled belly slammed into the ground. Fortunately, he was relatively unharmed. Just a little sore. He turned to snarl at the werewolf who was at his back. The dragon channeled his magick and then prepared to release a violent force to blast Damian away.

Baratheon had been forced to the ground and now was the perfect time to pin him down. Quickly he descended towards the drake, intent on catching him with claw and fang, but just as he got close enough to grab at him a powerful blast exploded from Baratheon. It struck him hard, forcing a snarl from his chest as he was sent soaring through the air once again and slammed hard against the spire. Air was knocked out of him as he slid down to sit upon one of the ledges upon the spire and for a moment he struggled to catch his breath.

Fangs bared as he stared down at Baratheon and soon his gem was tingling along his hip. All of a sudden he felt a force of energy leave him and before he knew it a medium sized rock flub away from the ground and went sailing straight for bara

The dragon rose to his paws and gave himself a great shake, dislodging dust and debris from his coat. He crouched, tail on the ground to give him balance and weight distributed evenly as he slowly advanced upon the downed lycanthrope. His lips were pulled back from his fangs and his wings were raised to make him seem more intimidating.

All of a sudden as he came closer he felt a rock come and slap him in the nose. With a sound quite like a stricken hound he stopped walking and sat back on his haunches. He raised one paw and rubbed his nose tenderly, eye thoroughly confused for a moment. Gee... That had really hurt. He turned a pout on Damian and then gathered up energy in his paw and smacked the rock right back in an attempt hit Damian on his nose.

Amber eyes narrowed aggressively as Bara came prowling towards him trying to look intimidated. His spell had worked only seeconds afterwards and the noise that escaped Bara made Damian flinch in just the slightest. For a split moment his ears pinned back against his head as he looked at the drake. He had opened his mouth as if to say something only to clamp his jowls shut when the same rock flew right back at him and struck him in his pawed foot. He was silent for a long moment before a soft chuckle escaped the beast while his expression finally eased to a more relaxed position.

"Well....now that that is out of our system," He mused thoughtfully as a grin set across his features. "Didn't mean for that to hit you in the nose," He gave a shrug of his shoulders as he sat forward and glanced down from the ledge he had landed on prior to striking Bara with a rock.

Baratheon sat and rubbed his nose for a little while as he watched Damian who quite suddenly apologized. For a moment the dragon simply glared but then broke into a grin and then a laugh. "'S fine! I've felt worse." Really... A stone on the nose hurt far less than getting your eye blasted out. In any case, Damian had proved his mettle and he felt the feeling in his gut increase twofold.

He knew what he needed to do.

The dragon extended his rear leg and then used his nose horn to cleave off a small piece of his stone before he walked over and dropped it in front of Damian. "Here. Take this and infuse it with your essence. It's time there were more dragons around here and I want you to help me make them." He'd passed the test and Baratheon was happy to offer over a shard piece. If he could wink he would have as he turned to make his leave. "I'll be checking up on you both..." With that he walked away. He felt he'd been away from Eridanus for too long.

The dragon, his hatchmate, had bestowed him a piece of his gem. Damian stared as the gem as Baratheon dropped it before him and his audit's perked into attention. Slowly his pawed hand reached out and plucked the pink gem from the ground and lifted it closer towards his muzzle to inspect it better. Bara spoke and of course Damian listened. He would check up on them would they? A dark smirk shadowed across his features as he lifted his amber eyes up to the dragon who had now taken his leave. This had certainly turned out for the best. With Baratheon gone, Damian focused the gem and gently breathed his breath of life into the stone. Watched as tendrils of green and red mingled in his breathe slid and curled around the gem, causing the gem to flash breifly.

It was done. Soon a mighty beast would be born into Origin and for a moment Damian felt excited about what this child would come to be.
