Aza'zel "Fiend" Vita
I've got a lovely bunch 'o bones; big ones, small ones
Some as big as your head!

Skittering amongst the tunnels was no easy feat, especially if said tunnels had no sources of light at all, as of yet. Perhaps the lights hadn't been turned on yet? Who'd figure out how to turn them on? Could you turn them on? Aza'zel could only be left to wonder. But he emerged from the shaft to find a fantastic and gorgeous room. It was one that was filled with a million shining lights... uh... what were they called? St-st-STARS! That's it! This room was full of stars! And it wasn't that far from the bone room. Well, Aza'zel was pretry sure it wasn't far. Nothing a nice flight could help.

So there the Bone Prince was, in somewhat familiar territory due to his instincts, clambering upon the rocky cliffs that had many stars encrusted in them. Carmine eyes shimmered to reflect these white crystals, and he was tempted to chip off one from the surrounding granite to bring back to Krakarak. And so he would! But he'd have to find the perfect one. Nothing was too good for his friend, the Gem Collector! Scrutinizing each stone he saw, all of them were either too small, irregular, or ugly to bother with it. Then there was a perfect one right before him. It had a rounded shape and was clear as day. It gave off a soft glow and sheen, and Aza'zel began to attempt to excavate it with his sharp talons. He ground into the granite, feeling small grains come off.

Sooner or later, his talons were dull, but he had barely excavated the stone. It was a bit dusty, and he'd have to clean it off soon. Using his beak for the remainder of excavation, the crystal popped out of the hole he had chipped into the rock face, and clattered to the floor soundlessly. In victory, Aza puffed out his chest, grabbing the rock with his talons. It was quite light, even if it was a decent sized stone. Perhaps the size of Aza'zel's red jasper stone. For a moment, he wondered if he could give life to this stone and make it a Gembound, but he'd wait and see if Krakarak was okay with that. He never knew with that bird. He could create a new friend for them if he had the magic to. And if he were old enough. Just as easily as it came, the thought was dismissed and the juvenile ave hopped off and away from the hole in the rock, now gazing upon the crystalline empire below. It was stunning! Someday, he'd bring Krakarak here! The raven would love all of these shinies!

{ OOC } ~ for Fortune <3
She had left her home behind.

Fortune, as she'd come to call herself, tottered along on awkwardly long legs at a decent clip, down winding corridors and turning along the bending twists and turns with some fair agility. She had left the odd bird and monkey behind, and had set off in search of better company- perhaps something a little bigger, less complainy.

As she came towards a gleaming end to her long road, the doe came to a clattering halt. She peered into the new room with curious wonder, leaning out carefully and being quiet now.

The cavern before her shone with more colors than she'd ever seen, all dancing together in one sum of dazzling lights- like stars, though she'd never know that, having never seen the night sky, nor any sky. Her world was solid, with walls all around her, to catch her if she jumped too high, or fell.

As she peered around the dazzling chamber, her deep blue eyes happened upon a hopping... bird? Yes, she decided. It was most assuredly a bird, but not anything like the little bird she'd already met. This one was much bigger, with less pretty colors. It hobbled and hopped along a few yards away and this one also carried little stones. Were all birds obsessed?

"Hey!" She bleated, almost pointlessly. A drive for companionship, or maybe simply curiosity to know more about this odd looking giant bird. Whatever the case, she began to make her way over, tick-tacking the whole way.

Scrutinizing the gem he had collected for the raven, the bird gazed into it's many facets. Even being released from the stone that once had hosted it, the crystal shimmered like a million stars. It suited the name of this room, which he was sure that was Orion. The Room of Stars. Aza'zel had been entirely unaware of another Gembound approaching. It was only until he heard the small click! click! of hooves on stone that denoted another's presence. Rufous crown turned upward, gazing right at the young deer-like creature that stood before him. Upon her crown, a beautiful horn of pure crystals rested. If she hadn't been created from it, Aza'zel would have taken the stone for Krakarak as well. A small greeting announced the presence of the deer, and the bird waddled over, head tilted. "Hi!" He chirped, carmine eyes flickered as he blinked.

Hiding the gem behind him, the bird set it down beneath where his tail feathers would rest. "I'm Aza'zel! King of the Bonebound!" He squawked, proud that this was now a suitable nickname. His chest swelled, and the bird nodded happily, gazing at the Gembound before him. "Who are you?" Aza'zel inquired, the juvenile very much curious.

Oh good, the bird was friendly! Her ears perked up and forward, and those big blue eyes gazed down with wonderment, as the bird announced himself to be Aza'zel, King of the Bonebound. She wouldn't been even more impress if she'd actually known was a king was- but at least his fancy long name seemed to catch her attention.

"Woah. Cool." She fluffed up her own chest and pressed her head back a bit, posing similarly. "I am Fortune... I am... a duiker?" She giggled, a sweet sound that didn't match her otherwise soft and wispy voice. "Hehe, what's a King? What's a Bonebound?" Her head tilted dramaticly to the side. "Can I be a King? Do you have to be a bird?"

Silly doe now knelt down to be at eye level with Aza'zel, eventually just settling herself onto her belly, with long legs folded beneath her. She took this vital moment to rest her tired legs, but felt she could follow if the bird decided he'd like her for company. She decided that this bird, with a quieter voice and no one else to fight for his shinies over, seemed like a great idea for companionship. Much better than a tantrum monkey and a scaredy theif.

The Bone King watched as the duiker retained a cute and friendly air, but now it posessed a hint of curiousity. Carmine orbs flickered as the Gembound spoke of her name, taking on a proud and tip-toed stance. "For... tune... Fortune!" He murmured, then chirped the correct pronunciation. Aza'zel would definitely remember that. Also, Fortune was a Duiker? What was that? The young ave paid no mind to that for now, continuing to answer her questions. She questioned what a king was, and the bird nodded.

"It's a ruler... like a leader." The bird cawed, carmine orbs fluttering. Puffing out his chest, he nodded. Then the girl asked what a Bonebound was. "Not a, The Bonebound. It's a group... like a family. We stick close together and spend time in the room of bones... Not too far from here. Want to come along and join? Uh... if you don't already have a group?" Shyly, the bird looked off, tilting his head to look out across Orion. It was beautiful. When he turned back, he saw that the bovidae had retreated to her knees so she was eye-level with the juvenile, and he smiled a little. This seemed like a great friend already. Fortune the Duiker.
