Perched on a rock with their head angled to look into the murky water, was Willow. The owl often felt like a stranger here; mainly because.... she was. Willow did not visit often; she had not much reason to, after all. Occasionally, a rat or a rabbit would be dropped into the Pile, only to be stolen by some lizard-like creature with feathers strewn across it's body. A scavenger - or perhaps 'thief' was a better word for it. Willow never had the energy to stop them. Creatures had to eat. If she liked it or not.
But now, she had remained here for several days. Four or five times she had attempted to sleep as the lights dimmed out; though to not much success, as usual. She didn't know what she was waiting for, or why she was remaining or so long. The mud bothered her. The bleakness bothered her. The murky water bothered her, too - far too deep and filthy to bathe in and housing a monster within it.
On the rock she stood on, she shifted slightly. She knew what was keeping her rooted here. Czernobog had turned out to be an incredibly - if a guilt-ridden and miserable - intelligent creature. The boar fascinated her to an extent. His determination to prove himself, his regret for his 'failures.' Her eyes half-closed as she recalled his words ringing into her mind. The Black God.
She didn't quite understand it. But she didn't quite care. She lifted her head only slightly to continue staring out across the water.

Willow had heard the roar that shattered the calm silence, the cracking of empty jaws and the huge splash, but something in the back of her head told her to ignore it. She turned her head however, perhaps in spite of the voice. She barely caught the sight of Dragon slinking back into the water, pausing for a moment. Would it be worth it to flutter over and make conversation? She shifted again, turning on the rock.
She stared for a moment before her wings spread and she flew over in silence, landing on the mud near by. She had immediately lost track of Dragon in the mere few seconds she looked away, but she was fairly certain that the alligator was near by. "Dragon," she called out to the water, half in greeting and half-questioning, waiting for him to show his face.
"Do you require aid?"

The owl's head turned to regard the rock she was perched on moments ago, as if she were regarding an old friend. Slowly however, her head shifted back towards Dragon. How long had he wanted to talk? How long for? It wasn't like Willow was doing anything else, of course - but being alone was something she valued greatly. "There is time," she said in a soft tone.
She shifted in the mud briefly, shaking out her feathers, before she settled again, "Is there something bothering you?" she asked, only briefly glancing around for somewhere else better to perch.

Willow was silent for a while, listening. She watched Dragon carefully; barely reacting to his words. At Dragon's second nod, her head dipped down into agreement. "Yes. I understand," she said simply before she fell silent once more - listening to the alligator.
She was still for a moment as Dragon continued on, brow twitching ever so slightly. She did not own a mouth; but it became quickly apparent that that wasn't entirely what Dragon was trying to say, it seemed. He did not elaborate on his words however, moving on.
His words were beginning to piece together however, and for a moment Willow believed she understood. She dare say she was interested, too. The owl slowly tilted her head, watching the alligator for a moment. "I believe I understand, Dragon," she began. "It is an interesting idea, but will it work?"
"There are many eyes in many places. We may be spotted stealing, or planting things that do not belong. What then?" She shifted somewhat. "Do you plan on telling others?"

Willow shifted. She wasn't sure why Dragon would want to keep this information from the rest of them - especially when he considered them family - but she decided to dismiss the thoughts rather quickly.
"Perhaps work when the lights are out," she suggested quietly.
