Apparently Czernobog had picked up on the newborn's rumble. Slowly trotting off towards where ever food was stored the young cassowary supposed. They didn't mind how long it took to approach the food, they were being balanced on top of the large boar's snout. Happily wiggling their little nubbins, patting the sides of his snout attempting to give hugs of gratitude. Before they new it, disrupting a happy hugging session Czernobog had put them safely on the ground. Pink eyes wide with curiosity as he told the baby to stay.
Eyes darting every which way the newborn could see hundreds of red eyes all over the place! All seeming to flee from their large friend! They tried to wait, they really did; but another rumble from their stomach had them darting off! Running straight past Czernobog and into the darkness. Where the young cassowary scrambled around the floor, chasing a rather delicious looking spider. Whether it was luck or just pure skill they caught the tasty arachnid! Munching on its legs and pecking at what ever fell to their feet.
@Czernobog
The young cassowary hadn't processed Czernobog's yelp of surprised, too focused on this sweet succulent arachnid after all. Though the small happy gembound quickly turned when they spoke, a few of the last scraps of the spider's legs dangling from their mouth. They only hoped their giant boar wouldn't be terribly upset at them! They were just grabbing a quite bite to eat! One of the possible many this little bird had their pink eye's on.
Though as they snuffled over to them, checking their soft delicate form; the young bird could only lay their head on his snout. Silently agreeing and apologizing for any worry they had caused. Listening intently to the hum that stirred up in the big boar's throat again. That was until another spider caught their eye. It was so close, hunkered down against the stone floor. Blending in as if one of the rocks sprinkled throughout. Adorable little camouflage really, well it didn't fool this bird. Little feet tapping against the stone floor as they stood there, excited. Waiting for the ok to scramble at another meal. Opening their beak they spoke up again, voice crackling like a bad signal.
"Food-food-food"
Waiting for that little nod they darted after the spider! Though wouldn't run far anyway, wouldn't want the giant boar the worry again. So they would try and keep it to a safe distance, though just as before it was as easy as pie! What ever pie was...Pecking down at the scrambling spider it was no match! Success! Except this time they small one didn't swallow it down. Waddling over excitedly they placed it before Czernobog, echoing their statement from before.

@Czernobog
It seemed the little bird was already an
aficionado at hunting spiders! Catching not one but two spiders! Back to back even! Though they weren't one to get too prideful. But, when Czernobog consumed the well in the boar's case tiny spider; they couldn't help but feel pride! They ate it, happily even! At least that's what the young cassowary thought.
Beak opening into a presumable smile at Bog's words. "...fooooooooor meeeeeeeee?". Hopping around as young little birds do, they stopped. Opening their mouth wide to once again let their crackling voice greet the silence happily.
"Fooooor you! Fooooor you!"
Communicating didn't seem difficult, but it definitely was a bit touch and go. Especially with a small child and a boar who rather speak in simple words. But it would be that much easier! Both loved the simple ways it seemed!
@Czernobog
That rumbling thank you was so sweet, the little cassowary couldn't help but jump up and around with happiness. He had done good! He had fed Big Bog! Though...he was so big...more food would obviously be mandatory. Not just for the growing gembound but for the sweet giant boar as well. They couldn't help but notice that their friend had an open chest cavity. Was that, normal? They didn't think it would be? But who knows, as long as Czernobog was happy they must be fine! That is all that matter to this young bird anyway.
Being gently patted and nosed up back onto his snout, they let out a happy peep or two. Rather bizarre and unlike other young birds, but a happy peep regardless. Watching Bog's eyes finally lock onto their own pink ones; he had spoke up. "Yoooooooou. Stiiiiiiill. Huuuuunger?" Tiny little nubs they held for wings wiggled full of enthusiasm.
"HUUUUNGREEY" Erupting a happy and very excited voice that crackled through.
@Czernobog
Peanuts attempted to mimic this strange bellow that Czernobog had released. Though upon slight inspection and notice of fleeing spiders; he was scaring them off. The young cassowary didn't worry, Bog knew what they were doing after all! Perhaps wanting to give chase for the thrill of the hunt! They both seemed to be cut from the same cloth, which was one of the many similar lucky things.
Craning their neck they caught glimpse of the meal to be! A very large spider who didn't back down from Big Bog. This spider was in for it good; surely nobody could beat Czernobog. Least not a spider after all! A few valiant jabs with his hooves and the spider was rendered practically harmless! But still it lived, waiting for the young cassowary. Listening to Czernobog's word of food and taking the small step down; they waddled closer to the spider.
Pecking at its legs, crunching happily away; swiftly changing their tactic to go head on and finish the small beast off. They enjoyed the hunt; but not to much the suffering of their food. It was uncalled for really, but they spent little time thinking about such. Only to turn to Czernobog, spider in beak and an extended stomach filled happily with the caverns spiders. Good eating!
