After a while, the snow built up. It stayed even after Farrah slept. The whole world became cold and sparkled white. The chill in the air made Farrah want to do nothing more than to warm up inside. Where was the green? Something needed to stand out. In the white, there was a leafless shrub, but in that shrub, there was a leafy plant. The stout shiba plucked a pew branches, securing them together loosely. The ice coated leaves sparkled as they twisted. She needed to spread this beauty! Farrah carefully balanced herself on a tree trunk and hung the mistletoe... not that she knew that's what it was. She did know, however, that she needed more! She found a spiky plant with red berried and grabbed some of that. Tossing that about she added that around the tree and a sprig behind her left ear for good measure. The whole thing was pretty, but it needed more warmth.
Farrah looked over at the flat, snowy area. The mistletoe hung in the back with holly surrounding the trunk of each tree, forming a circle around the area. The small doge beamed with pride. It looked great, but it still needed warmth. It had been a long time. She wasn't even sure if she could do it anymore. Farrah tried anyway, summoning her magic. Light flicked through her gem, then lit up the red tips of her ears. Her cheeks glowed pink, then a deep red. She opened her maw, and with a howl, light spilled out of her maw, splitting into orbs of varying sizes. The orbs hung below the tree branches, creating a warm canopy. Lights dotted the trees and lit up the holly on Farrah's ear. A final light shone down on the mistletoe, highlighting any who stood below. Farrah made her way to this spot, leaving room for another gembound to join her in the light, and she sent out a call. Farrah is back and is in the mood to be merry.
