Diánysma observed from behind the mossy stone, soon seeing a quite large creature lumbering, body mottled with fading spots and stripes. The pale corvid's feathers ruffled as she was noticed, and her rubies flickered up. This would be her first victim, the first one to carry her plague. This... Penelope... should be honored. The raven hopped out from behind the stone and smiled meekly. "I'm... I'm Diá."

The raven approached, making herself seem shy and timid, yet willing to make friends. "H-Hi. It's awfully chilly in here."

@Penelope

The tiny tail of the tapir wiggled once the white bird responded. That wasn't as hard as she thought it would be, since she only spoke to the rocks most of the time and not others. Tilting her head some, Penelope smiled to this Dia. "Yeah, do you want to go somewhere warmer?" Completely unaware of the truth, she wasn't the best one at reading faces. Soon the distance between them was closed with just a few more steps.

@Diánysma
As she approached the critter, Diánysma smiled shyly. Rubies darted every which way, and she held a bit of a submissive stance. Without warning, she snuggled into the chest of the creature, beak right near a softer and fleshier bit of the creature's neck. "No," she whispered sinisterly, "this is just right." Rosy beak clacked shut once, and she poked it into the soft and saggy flesh. It was just barely, but enough to inject the disease.

@Penelope : PP ok'd with Elizabeth!

When the crow came very close, it didn't bother the young thing; evening smiling when they came very close and appeared to snuggle against her chest. "Ok, if you think so . . ." But was caught off guard at a sharp pain to her neck. "OUCH!" Eyes began to water up from the shock as she stumbled back but was able to stay on her feet.

"What was that for . . ?" Looking to little Dia with wide eyes, was it on purpose or an accident? Must be an accident, but . . . who knew?

@Diánysma
The raven peered up, eyes wide and innocent. Diánysma sharply gasped and shook her head. "Oh no, I'm so sorry!" When she was asked what it was for, she had to really bite back a remark about her god. "I-it was an accident, I swear!" The pale corvid shook her head in distress and scampered away down the tunnel, darting into smaller tunnels in there to lose the tapir. She may have cast back a dark smirk back to the tapir. She'd be watching.

She always did.

In her thoughts, she quietly sung.

@Penelope

The beck to her neck hurt, stung really and tears leaked from the tapirs eyes. But, if the little one didn't mean to do it, it was alright. Right? "It's fine Dia . . . Dia?" Lifting her head up to see that the little white crow had hopped away into the dark of the tunnel. Why did she run away?

Getting to her feet, Penelope would head back to Polaris for now. Keeping an eye out for the crow along her way. It really stings . . . Unable to see how bad the bite was, she just tried to find her way home.
