Okay. So... I mentioned having a tiny idea for a group with Ovid, in the chat box. This is that tiny idea! And, seeing as how Ovid is still trying to hatch out of his stupid rock-egg, it'll be a while before he forms a real group. I figure when he's an adult he'll try to form something. To the point!

Mistwalkers
Area: Cetus (The Heart, The Divine.)
Leader: future! Ovid
Pledges: N/A
Alignment: Lawful + Neutral/Goodish

Led by (adult!) Ovid, they make the room of Cetus their home. The Heart is where they congregate most often, surviving in the swampland and using the mist to keep themselves hidden. There is one massive tree hidden within Cetus - called the Divine by the inhabitants - which serves as a congregation point for important matters.

For the most part this group will be peaceful; they want to avoid the threats of danger found in other areas of the origin cave, and hide out in Cetus as a way to protect themselves. It is Ovid who desires secrecy within the group, thinking that it will keep everyone safe and secure within the marsh, so his primary rule for living among them is: 'keep it secret, keep it safe'.

However, if any Mistwalker is threatened - or an ally of the Mistwalkers requires aid - they will rise up and fight. Their neutrality goes out the window if someone with good intentions is at risk, or in some manner threatened. Aside from being overly protective of friends, they are a quiet group that seeks only to stay out of trouble.

Members are allowed free reign of the area, but anyone else entering Cetus will be monitored. Think of this group as a secret police - except it doesn't care so much about the injustice outside of Cetus. Members must be adults to join, and new Gembounds will be scared off using magic and spoopy tricks. There may be occasional monster hunts as well, in part to keep the area safe for the group, and in part to give us interesting plotty things to work on together.

This idea might morph in to something else while I develop Ovid, but for the most part it'll stay pretty similar to this. A group that hides out in the swamp, and only makes themselves known when bullies are caught in their sights!
