ORIGIN

Lotus watched the big felines for a bit when she heard Cure mention that she would watch Lotus while the male Xerxes went hunting for something for Lotus. A large paw swatted her as Cure mentioned that they would play while the horned male feline went looking for food.The cub swatted back at Cure letting out a Lion cub mew. The baby gembound's tail flicked some and she went over to Cure's head to nuzzle her head. Lottie was getting hunger ffrom what her empty stomach was telling her but she knew that it would take awhile to actually catch something. Lottie nuzzled Cure under her head and took in cure's scent. She wanted to talk but was affraid that they would hurt her if she did even though t Lot already had talked when she first met them. Were they going to be her family now? Or just two gembound friends thaat found her after she emerged?Lottie wondered.

Xerxes nodded and turned on his heels to go hunt some food. Something small so the little cub could eat it herself. Hopefully he could find something like a rat around here so he wouldn't have to travel too far. it seemed that he was nearly outside of Canis when he finally found a rat feasting on something that wasn't quite whole anymore. His lip curled at the cannibalistic thing and he was quick to sneak up on it and pounce. Landing on the rats tail, it was an easy catch but it certainly struggled and almost got away once or twice. Although it wasn't the largest rat he'd seen, it was certainly better than nothing and hopefully would be enough for the small cub. Later, he and Cure were to hunt again and would hopefully find something much larger, like a lesser deer or something. Cure was certainly old enough to take something like that down and Xerxes wasn't too far behind, so certainly they could get something, right? Carrying the rat by it's tail, a little blood leaked out of the puncture holes his fangs had left when he made the killing bite. Hopefully it would be enough to lure the kitten in like it had been for him, despite the small disgust he felt at first. He trotted back up to the two then and placed the rat before Lotus and took a step back. Looking at Cure, he hoped he had done good and searched for some kind of positive reaction on her face. He was still learning how to hunt successfully himself, and he felt pretty proud for catching this rat, but would Cure be happy with it? With Xerxes gone, the little white cub was wanna to go exploring but she didnt know if Cure would let them because she was still just a baby but that didnt matter to the cub, she wanted to see the whole part of Canis. Lotus looked at the black gembound and sat down on her rump to think of what they could do. She then got distracted with Cure's tail flicking and the little cub just watched moving slowly towards it. Sadly she tripped over herself pace planting ground almost. Lottie was too younger to try stalking her own prey or in this case Cure's tail. She sat up and looked at Cure. "I wants to plays with you but yous might...squish me...Cure." she said getting to her feet. The fuzzball went over and laid in front of Cure's front paws. She sighed and wondered if she was a failure or going to be one. Maybe even a klutz. It would be a shame for the young lass to be born a klutz. She would get made fun for that too. Lottie looked at Cure and wondered why the big gembound didnt pick on her for being all white like snow.
