It was a success! His father had finally conceded on allowing Khoridai to explore. The little dragon wolf pup had took off in a split second. With a quick 'i'll return quickly!' to his brother Saosin, Khori was off! He had followed a tunnel, he wasn't sure which one exactly as he had been going far to quick, but it had eventually led him here. His eyes were wide with excitement as he studied everything. There was a strange roaring sound echoing within this cavern and he was utmost curious about what it was.

His long bushy wolven tail swished back and forth behind him, brushing along the ground without any worry. There were so many new scents within this new area that he just seemed to become more and more excited. His hurry waddle began to turn into a hop and a jump further into the room. He peeled his lips apart and with a happy note gave a relatively loud barking noise. He continued further into the room as he looked around.

"Helloooooo, an'one theeerree"! He barked and yipped loudly, trying to get someone's attention. It would be strange to find this room empty. His daddy said there were a lot of gembounds around!

Wist peeked out from behind a large rock, blinking at the sound of a newcomer. She'd been experimenting with making herself glow and she had really wanted to make other things glow just like her brother, but thus far she wasn't having any luck go from her to something else. But that was okay!

And when her eyes locked onto the new gem, she gasped and almost fell over her hooves, and she hurried over to them, her tiny little hooves making a song against the stone.

"Goodness," She said softly, once she came up to them. "A dragon!" She tilted her head and smiled a very soft smile at them, affection breathing from her every pore. "My name is Wisteria, sir dragon." She bowed delicately and smoothly, imagining the swishing of skirts and smell of sweet perfume as she did so.

Then she looked up and smiled unabashedly at him, her little fangs winking in the low light. "Do you want to play with me?"

It seemed there would be no reply for the longest of times. Khori felt himself giving up and just deciding on exploring all on his own, but all of a sudden a noise came. A voice so sweet and soft. His neck twisted around, turning his angular head towards the sound as his wide pink eyes landed on the creature the voice belonged too. He was stunned for a moment, awed by the shape and color of this creature. He wasn't exactly sure what she was, but he just knew there was something good about her.

A large smile spread across his features as he turned in his spot to fully face her. His wings seemed to spread out and flutter for a moment before settling back neatly along his sides. Her name reached his long pointed ears and he nearly wiggled with renewed excitement. She called him sir!! Then she rose and her next question caused the dragonwolf to give a yip of excitement.

"Yes! I will play with you! Khoridai will always play!" He yipped and huffed with a wide grin that exposed all his sharp baby teeth. "What are we going to play?! He asked excitedly as he waddled closer to her, wiggling his tail back and forth.

She giggled at his response. What a lovely name! Sir Khori, the brave and wonderful dragon. Oh, how lucky she was so come across someone so nice and straight out of a fairytale! He extended his beautiful wings just for her to see them and she was so lost in the beauty of them.

She took his question very seriously, however, and with her soft voice, she said, "We shall play....The Moon and the Sun."

"The Sun will walk this way, and the Moon will follow, trying to talk to them, perhaps tell them jokes, in an effort to get them to turn around. And once the Sun turns, then they have set, and they now have to follow the Moon."

"My mother tells me of these things in her stories, but I have no idea what they are. I imagine they are beautiful," She said bashfully, smiling, one leg twirling around the other. "But...would you like to play?"

(The Moon will roll to try and turn the Sun, and the Sun will try to keep steady - whoever has the highest roll wins. c: )

Big fluffy ears twitched and turned to attention as the feline creature's voice rose and called for his entire focus. She spoke of a game Khori had never once heard of and for a moment Khoridai's confidence wavered, but as Wisteria began to explain how the game worked he quickly regained himself. A broad, toothy grin curled over his features as his tail began to sway and wag to and fro behind him as he grew more and more eager to play this game with her!

He tilted his head when she spoke of her mother and for a moment he wondered if that meant she had been born of two gembounds just as he was. Khori didn't have a mother though. He had two, powerful and large, fathers. Creatures he would strive in his time to be just as great as them. A quick yip of excitement escaped the noodly wolf as he waddled closer to Wisteria with his bright, goofy grin. "Oh yes! I would love to play this game! You should be the sun! It sounds the loveliest, and brightest! I will be your moon!" His words fell happily from his muzzle, unaware of how it may have sounded to anyone listening, but he only felt right that this lovely little creature should be the sun; even if he, too, had no idea what it was.

She laughed and dipped her head, smiling brightly and happily. What a charming dragon! Sir Khori was everything she imagined a dragon to be; polite and happy and very wonderful! And he even called her lovely, and said he would be her moon! Oh, how romantic-!

She blushed a little at the compliment and danced around gracefully on her long, coltish legs like she was born for the motion, and she tiled her head back and winked at him, a funny thing, since she had only one eye. "Well then, try to make me turn around, child of the moon."

Then she trotted around the lake with a soft humming tune, her attentions on the new friend behind her.

The name seemed to cause Khoridai to brighten up even more. His tail wagged all the more swifter and he couldn't help the laughter that bubbled up from him. What an interesting, gentle creature he had come across! He watched her closely as she began to move, large ears perked up when he began hearing the tune she started to hum. It nearly lulled him into a stupor, but he quickly found his bearing and began to follow her in her stride.

And he continued to follow her. His wide, goofy grin still plastered onto his features as his noodle wolf body waddled along. His neck stretched out as far as it could go, almost as if he were trying to reach Wisteria with his nose. "Here I come!" He declared happily as he continued to follow after. He wasn't sure how he was going to get her to turn around, but he would strive to figure it out and attempt being successful at this game.

She heard him behind her, following after her footsteps, and she smiled and continued her tune, looking around the room for somewhere interesting to go. After all, it would be utterly silly to just go in circles after each other, wouldn't it? There were ponds and hills and rocks and hidden paths to go down, begging to be explored, and she set out for them, dancing on the edge of the biggest lake, the one with the waterfall, her soft steps balancing like a dance on the very edge. Her tune seemed to find words, which suited her just fine.

All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day, met the night.

When the sun found the moon,
She was drinking tea in a garden,
Under the green umbrella trees,
In the middle of summer....."

Khoridai couldn't keep the wide grin on his features away. His big wolfish paws padded along the ground, eagerly going after the creature just before him. Her path had turned, leading them along the bigger section of water. Unsteadily he followed her along the edge of the water, never once turning his gaze uneasily to the water. It made little difference to him. Wisteria glided along, as if she walked on clouds and it never came to him that she could potentially fall in like he could. Her humming soon changed, filling the sound with words that enthralled him to the point that he had forgotten they were actually playing a game for just the briefest of moments.

Closer he came upon Wisteria, moving along just that much quicker just so he could be next to her. When he came upon her flank he suddenly remembered the game and his grin grew wider. He jumped a foot ahead of where he was until he was halfway aligned up next to the wonderful creature. "Did you know...that your eyes sparkle like the stars in Orion?" His voice came, attempting to lure Wisteria into turning around. Of course, he had only seen the glimmering lights on the ceiling in Orion only briefly. It had been during his travel to this particular cavern, but he did know her gentle blue eyes reminded him of those things. As for the game, Khori wasn't exactly sure that would be enough to attempt to 'set' his sun. His ears splayed out to the side as he now eagerly grinned at Wisteria, watching closely to see if he had actually done something right instead of just following behind her quietly.

Sir Khori was right beside her, just behind her ear, when he spoke, and she couldn't help but look at him and turn her head just slightly to breath a soft, enraptured smile at his compliment. Joy caught in her throat- how wonderful and romantic a thought to have stars for eyes! How brilliant and lovely!

Then she caught herself and blinked - he'd made her head turn! And she pursed her lips and smirked at him. "How clever of you, Sir Dragon," Wist replied, stopping her movement and turning around completely so that he could lead this time. "To turn a little lady's head with flattering words." She punctuated such words with a giggle, still mulling over said flattery.

Now that he was leading, she mused over what she should say.

"Did you know..." She began softly, letting the words curl over her tongue. "I have never met a dragon before. I've only ever heard about them, and imagined them in my head. I do declare that you are all a dragon should be."
