Pounding through the icy cold water of the Eyes, Gracie searched frantically for the shiny piece of rock that looked much like a diamond. She didn't know what possessed her to crave ownership of the stone, but whatever secret power it had: she needed. The morning light of the cave was quickly growing brighter as the mysterious life force woke up and touched the branches and swirling water with a gentle caress of color. Stumbling around Gracie had both saw the precious stone and lost it in a matter of clumsy seconds. Her limbs were becoming numb and heavy. She dragged them around pointlessly stirring the lake's sediment into dark clouds of muck, no doubt to later enmesh with her fur and cake together once dried. A sure mess the panda will be.
Sighing melodramatically, Gracie ended her hapless quest. Settling the search as just an outlet for nervous energy. Staggering through the sandy beach, collecting impressive amounts of grime and the occasional twig, she headed up towards the tree line to lounge. Pins and needles began the process of returning feeling to her numb paws and legs.
Plopping herself down on the scraggly grass, she batted playfully at the longer tufts playfully. Eventually she dozed off thinking about Ghanyarah and the story about the spider... Which no doubt was a bad idea. A breeze rolled over the water again, sending chills up her spine just as a grass blade tickled her nose. Spider!? "AHHH!" she screeched, not shy about looking like a fool to anyone in the immediate area.
