ORIGIN - Looking for no. 1 (FARRAH DATE?!)

Farrah stamper stomped about like she was known to do. The small girl was enjoying the Spring- what is Spring- type weather in this part of Eridanus. (Is it still snowing? Not today.) The grasses were soft. Farrah's fur was soft. The air smelled soft. Everything was soft and lovely. Farrah could feel the love in the air. How had she missed out on so much of the caves? It wasn't that scary! The caves oozed love and warm good feelings. Farrah was feeling in tip-top shape and in a tip-top mood.

The crow tried not to think about Cetus and Aquarian's childen too much. What better way to do that than to visit Eridanus?

The bird fluttered quietly into the maw of mosses, half-expecting the sight of the tiny numbat to be there, or inky black feathers, but as Eve approached the Mother, she saw no such thing.

Trying not to let disappointment well up in her, the crow fluffed herself up and looked around. The flash of gold and brown fur caught her eye. Assuming it was the numbat, the crow shook her feathers and preened them quickly before she fluttered over.

But, alas, it wasn't Barnett. It was someone else, someone she hadn't seen before. Eve shook her head slightly. "Hey there!" she chirped regardless.

@Farrah

Farrah heard a voice call out and greet her. Oh man- a friend?! Farrah spun around, her maroon eyes wide and her tongue sticking out of her maw, "Hello! Hi! Wow, nice to meet you here- umm- bird, right? I'm Farrah- the... dig- I think- no wait- it was DOG. I-" Farrah turned in a circle, "-am a DOG!" she beamed. She didn't really know about this whole "species" thing yet... She thought about what Carrie had told her, "Are you a CAR-niv-VER? It's okay if you're not. I mean, I think I'm supposed to be, but I eat bugs? I'm a bug-I-ver." Woo she was being chatty! Farrah sat with a small plop, "Sorry, I got excited-" her tail continued to wag, "What is your name? Wait- let me guess- it's 'cutie', right?" Farrah let out a laugh, her eyes scrunching shut, "I'm kidding! Well, you are cute, but I mean I know that's not you're name- probably... Oh my gosh, if that was your name, though~" Farrah stood again, wagging her tail rapidly. It had been, like, forever since someone had talked to HER first!

The crow paused for a moment. She couldn't quite remember the last time she met somebody so upbeat and happy for seemingly no reason - but she sure as hell wasn't complaining. She could practically feel it all starting to rub off on her, anyway. "I'm a bird," the crow said, black feathers fluffing up.

A dog! Black was a dog, too, but Eve was fairly sure she preferred this one over Black. Her beak opened to speak, before it clipped shut with bewilderment. "A... A what?" she tilted her head. "I eat dead things-- I eat bugs, too, but I prefer stuff like deer."

She bounced abruptly towards a rock, conveniently not so far away. She prodded at it with her beak, before she upturned it and raked her talons across the soil before she pulled out a worm, presenting it to Farrah, proudly.

She paused again, blinking. "C-Cute?" she chirped. Oh no, this dog was meeting all of her standards!! "I! Am Eve!" She fluffed her feathers up again, proudly.

"So, Farrah, can you actually dig?" the crow was beginning to try to strike up casual conversation now; in a fairly desperate attempt to pretend her face wasn't burning as blood ran into it.

@Farrah

WOW this thing was a bird! Yup! Feathers- thick fur pieces-, a beak- a small sharp snoot-, and naked long stompers! Yes, this was indeed a bird, confirmed by the bird itself! It didn't give it's name, but that was okay. It wen to say that it ate dead things and bugs also. Did that make it a Carniver? Farrah shrugged, "I guess you're a dead-i-ver? Also a bug-i-ver?... LIKE ME!"

Panting happily, Farrah jumped slightly up and down as the bird bounced around. It pecked at the ground and pulled out a -gasp- worm?! Was this... for her? Looking from the worm back to the bird, Farrah, gently tilting her head to the side, pulling back her ears and squinting her eyes slightly to take the worm as gently as a little excited dog could. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest, but- hey- when didn't it? She took the worm and chewed it a few times before swallowing it mostly whole. Dog perks.

"Eve! Eve the bird? That's a great name, though..." Farrah tossed the bird a wink, "I think 'beautiful' would fit you too." Another peal of laughter would erupt from the dog.

The bird asked if she could really dig. Bounding in a circle, Farrah got excited. She stopped, legs wide apart and her rump in the air, "Can I dig? Of course I can dig! I am a dig-dog!" She began to dig her paws in the soil, being careful to only make a small hole and to not fling dirt everywhere. In the fresh soil, another fat worm wriggled, upset that it had been unearthed. Farrah picked it up, tossing it in the air to free it of dirt before catching it by the tip and presenting it to Eve, "Giffft ffffr Eeef!" she stated proudly, stompering up to the bird and holding her maw out near the bird's beak.

Eve wasn't so sure if 'dead-i-ver' was a thing but she'd be sure to ask somebody about it later. For now, however, it didn't matter. Her feathers fluffed up once more as she watched the dog eat the worm she had expertly acquired for Farrah. "We should share a deer some time," she said. "Like you know, a date."

She was taken aback by the wink, and being called 'beautiful.' Why was this dog being so nice to her?! WHY WAS THIS DOG AMAZING. Quickly, the crow fluffed herself up, wings flapping slightly before folding away. "W-Well!" she stammered, trynig to find a shred of confidence. "I think 'gorgeous' would suit you."

The crow nodded, proud of her efforts. Before she even knew it however, there was a worm presented directly in front of her. Her beak clicked quietly before she lifted her head, gently booping the very tip of Farrah's snooter before she took the worm and swallowed it whole, head craning back briefly.

"Thank you!" she said, eyes scrunching up into a strange mockery of a smile.

@Farrah

The bird suggested sharing a deer as a date and Farrah's maw would form a tiny "o" in response. She had never eaten a deer OR been on a date. This was exciting! Her maw quickly changed to a large smile and she nodded, "A date! YES!"

When she complimented the bird this time, the bird complimented her back. She blushed, her magic swirling in her cheeks as her eyes grew wide and round. Gorgeous? If the dog's eyes could have sparkled, they would have. Her heart beat so warmly in her chest. She felt so warm!

Aha! She still had another trick, though; the worm! The bird booped her softly before taking the worm and eating it, thanking her for it. Farrah offered a smile, then reached to boop the bird back with her nose. She had never been touched so softly. She felt little pin pricks roll down her back and her ears grew warm. Gently, Farrah tilted her head down, aiming to press is softly to the bird's body. She didn't know words to express what she felt, so she settled for words she did know, "Thank you. I feel so happy. I can't wait for our date."

@eve

The crow decided, as she was being squished by a strange, seemingly glowing dog that made her feel strange things, that things were begining to look up for her. She had something to look forward to now; and that something was was moving her feathers slightly out of place.

And she didn't care! It was great.

Eve angled her head upwards to gently nudge Farrah's cheek. "I can't wait either," she thought for a moment - where would she take her? How would she hunt a deer? She had to get a gift! What kind of gift would Farrah want?! Before the crow could properly worry - she decided to tackle one thing at a time. "What's your favourite place?"

Already, Eve was planning a few places. Orion was beautiful - Pisces had a waterfall! Polaris had the spire - though she wasn't sure if she wanted White to see her talking to somebody other than her dad. She wasn't sure why this was bothering her - it's not like she really liked Black anyway.

The bird shrugged a wing awkwardly, watching Farrah contentedly.

Wow there was so much love and warmth in the room! Farrah stayed close to the bird. SHE SAID SHE COULDN'T WAIT EITHER WOW! Farrah's tail wagged rapidly. The bird asked what her favorite place was and Farrah stepped back to talk. Her maw opened, but she couldn't think. She hadn't really been too many places since she came out of hiding. A blank look flashed on her face, then she had an idea, "I am unsure, so why don't you take me to the best place you know of?!" The dog thought this was a great idea because then she would get to go on a date AND get to see a new place, "When should we meet? Where should we meet? Can we meet here? I'll get all clean and roll in things that smell good and- how do you do a date? K-kiss! You kiss on a date, right?!" Farrah stammered, her face feeling wonderfully warm at the thought of such a lovely date.
