// Tag! Arkrael~
It had been two days since the young fisher had injured his paw, and though the first day of suffering had been a swollen, hot mess, his paw didn't ache nearly so bad when he awoke in a patch of comforting blue lights. The floor of Polaris wasn't the most comfortable place, but the crystal outcroppings were nice to hide in and the blue light of small, baby Blue Things like the spire were comforting to the young fisher who associated basically anything to everything.
His big, dark eyes blinked lazily as he rubbed his good paw over his muzzle, holding back a yawn. His belly grumbled loudly, and he knew he wasn't about to get any more sleep until he found something to eat. Sick of the mushrooms and moss he had been nibbling on for the last few days, the mustelid wriggled to his paws, careful not to put weight on his weakest leg. With a gentle test, he decided that he shouldn't walk on it yet, but maybe soon. It was still a little swollen, but not so hot, and that was a great relief to the sleepy, hungry critter who just wanted some warm food.
Making sure his lucky rock was safe, nestled in some of the blue crystals, the fisher started off on his hunt. Sniffing around, he didn't really smell anything tasty. Leaving the glow of the Spire, Fisher went to explore the rest of Polaris, his senses alert for any food that might be around. Hopefully he could actually catch something with his limpy, three legged walk, but Fisher wasn't too worried. He had his magick, after all, so maybe he could just shock something instead of chase it. He had never tried using his magick for something like that, but then again he had only just got the power to do the shocky thing from what he assumed was the Blue Thing.
post roll:
A noise picked up in Fisher's ears and he froze, tail twitching as he looked around for the source. Was it food? He hoped so-- his stomach was still making the occasional, whiny grumble protests. He didn't smell mouse, which he knew very well, but... What was it?
