for Cancer <3 Politics!

The Bone King had heard word of a new group to the far east, somewhere in some place called Pisces... the waterfall room. Now how to get there had been a problem. The bird had traversed and wandered some amount of tunnels to get to this place, but now he was here. The distant crash of thunder signified the waterfalls' presence. The bird hopped toward the entrance to Pisces, giving a small chirp. That wouldn't be enough. Wriggling closer, the bird gave a shrill cry, vibrating a little.

A low hum escaped him, the bird unintentionally using his magic for his summons. It reverberated across the caverns, reflecting off the rocks. Hopefully whoever lead this group would come. The Bone King could only wait.

Cancer woke with a start when those vibrations worked their way to him. As he gasped awake, the echoed fade of a new voice- another bird?- carried over his ears. He turned, and those eyes searched the dark cave. It was during these short hours that the cave grew dark- and he wasn't entirely sure why. The mosses and lichens that glew to light this place minutely dimmed for a few hours every day... possibly to recharge or rest? Did plants need to sleep?

The boy stood, and focused his gaze to a spot he could swear he saw movement in...

As his magic kicked in, a soft gleam seemed to shiver across his horns and eyes. Pupils enlarged to fill in where yellow used to be, and his world became bright. Easily, now, he spotted the bird stranger. With a sigh, he picked himself up and called back, a young roar, but a roar none-the-less. Can eased his way down to the floor from his ledge, then carried himself to meet this stranger. He carried himself tiredly, but with tail swinging high- it was somewhat clear he held some authority- not that ranks mattered so much here.

"Pisces Cave is home to Maji Walezi now. You'll have to be escorted through if you're seeking passage, stranger." He spoke well for his age, and when he came to stand before the bird, he lifted his head and examined the large thing casually. Much bigger than Bevy, but less colorful. Wings and scaled legs told him that this was a bird, even if its beak was malformed... or was that normal for birds, and Bevy's beak shaped weird? The cat wasn't sure he cared, to be honest. "Unless you know all that and you're here for another reason?" He doubted that option, but it wasn't impossible- Leon and Makyna had been in and out of the territory since their pledges.
In the darkness, the vibrations continued for a small while, but eventually they faded to a low and distant hum. Azazel was unsure of what magic that was, but he’d dub it… Vibration, for now. Seemed perfectly okay. Carmine eyes glimmered as he peered out to the other side of the entrance, barely visible in the darkness. Lichens grew across the rocky walls, glowing at some times and not at others. Not that Azazel cared, of course. He surely wouldn’t stay for too long, now.

It was the soft thump! and patter of paws that caught the ave’s attention, watching as a faint line of movement indicated another’s arrival. Its steps were slow and lazy, but it seemed the stature was high and dominant. Tracing the other’s steps, the bird decided that this was who he had summoned for.

Soon, the footsteps subsided to replace a low hum and some magical sparkly noises. A light shivered up and down on what appeared to be horns, illumianting the creature for a moment. He was a cub… a juvenile like all of the other creatures that wandered these empty stone caverns. A pretty neat one from the quick glimpse that The Bone King got. The cub’s eyes glowed a little, reflective of all lights. The creature seemed to inspect the bird, tracing his features, before the reflective film seemed to disappear from the creature.

After what seemed to be forever, the boy spoke. "Maji Walezi." Azazel mused, eyes glimmering. An escort? Not today. "I have ither intentions…” He chirped playfully. He knew that this Gembound had eaten one too many lemons and held a sour face, but he continued. Shaking rufous crown, the ave smiled. "I am Azazel Vita… The Bone King of The Bonebound. We live in Canis, far west from here. I come seeking alliance."
