It's the season of love and friendship and I thought that we could use more of it on Origin. Don't have a significant other? Join up here! Have a significant other? Join anyway! Here's how this works:
You sign up by February 10th, then I'll pm you another user's name. It is then your goal to make the other player feel all the affection, BUT THERE'S A CATCH; you must try not to get caught! You can make your valentine's day by making threads with them, making them art, complimenting their traits and characters in the c-box, etc.
"But TO! How do we keep this a secret if we're making art/ complimenting them?"
Good question! If you make art for them, send it to me, and I'll post it here secretly and tag them for you! You can also use secret names in the chat box!
After Valentine's day (probably by the end of the month) You can post saying who you got and it would be cool to post screenshots of all the little things you did to try to make their month. Until then, KEEP IT A SECRET!
Originally, I saw something similar done on a show for a K-pop group. The members would do things like bring each other tea, compliment each other's hair, etc while trying not to get caught. I don't remember what it was called, so now it's gonna be SHY VALENTINE.
If you're in, just comment below saying you're in! Please make sure you can commit to almost a month of making that person happy with art, comments, posts, or whatever that's not like super obvious.
Tips:
1. Use secret names in the chat, or keep it casual. If your valentine goes and talks about their character Xie, you might want to go read up on them and comment things about them, or offer a thread if they aren't swamped.
2. If you make art, maybe make art for one or two other people to avoid suspicion OR
3. Submit things to TO to post secretly. Remember you'll get credited for your art after we do the reveal.
4. Feel free to ask staff for ideas if you are unsure or if you need help executing a plan.
