The flower he'd tried to pluck was just... gone. Out in a burst of light and a cascade of glittering dust. A beautiful display, but one that Romeo very nearly missed as he shied away from the bright flash of light. It was beautiful, it was abrupt, and unexpected but it was no pretty pink flower or the petal he'd tried to claim.

Romeo slowly lowered himself back onto his haunches, gazing longingly at where the flower had used to be.
As the flower's last remnants fade away, Romeo is filled with an uncontrollable rage! For the remainder of this thread, he will be inconsolably angry with all those around him! If any new gembounds enter the thread, Romeo will find that he is not enraged with them!

Somewhere else in the caves, another flower sprouts.

It came suddenly, without warning. in the next few seconds, Romeo went from gazing at where the flower had been to suddenly looking up. He noticed those around him for what seemed like the first time. The fur long his spine rose and he bared his teeth in a growl. Anger urged through him, he didn't know why or how, and he'd never felt like this before, but it was there, and he needed to take it out on something... or someone.

The flower was gone! He'd missed his chance. He could have just admired the glow but no!

The two rhinos were there, they'd made him too nervous just to look at it, it was all their fault! Everyone here, everyone was beneath him. He drove his claws into the cold stone ground with a rather sharp scraping sound. "Aaaaagh..." he snarled. "Rrrrrrrgh... Wh-why did you do that?" he asked no-one in particular, his question more directed at everyone. "I... I needed that flower! I needed it! It could've been my thing, I could have been amazing! What did you do to it, you monsters?!"

Romeo's voice rose, unexpectedly, to a shout. He was weighed down by the noisemaker. Weighed down, luckily, so he didn't try to jump at anyone. Just sat there quaking with anger and twitching sporadically.

"You'll never get to hear my noise-maker now! I'll never sing for you or hum for you or talk to you again! Yes, that's it! Or every time I do, I'll SHOUT LIKE THIS!"

Romeo flung his noisemaker onto the ground and strummed it violently with his claws as he let out his final shout, just for effect. The air around him vibrated, creating his usual humming bassline.

"YEAH!"

The flowers sprouted up onto Asurai's fur, but as they did something went wrong! The flowers tore the skin slightly, hurting Asurai and making a little blood drip down. It wasn't too serious but it was enough to hurt. It was then that somebody began to shout and instantly, Asurai began to lower her head, her tail firm between her legs.

"I'm sorry. It's all my fault. I shouldn't of come. I killed the flower. I am so stupid and useless. It's all my fault. I can't do nothing right."

She whimpered slightly, staying in her submissive position as she took all the blame. Well, that was just how she was, wasn't it?
Victor watched as the flower disappeared, well, that was that! He sighed softly and then looked to Romeo who suddenly began to shout. He just stared at him confused, what the hell was he talking about? He then heard this strange hum and honestly, it was more annoying than anything. He turned to a wolf who began to take the blame, when she was done he looked back to Romeo.

"Dude, what are you talking about? You're the one who tried to take a petal? So if anyone is to blame here, it would be you. Not me, not that wolf, not anyone but you. So how about you try calming down and actually think instead of making stupid accusations."

Victor looked around before looking back to Romeo. He spoke the truth, he just hoped everyone else agreed with him.
Satisfaction burned in Romeo's chest in response to the wolf's reaction, yet his anger only seemed to grow. He gripped hus noise-maker jealously and leant on it with most of his weight, his claws wound around the strings which felt tight and sharp against his paw pads. He lifted his lip in another small, high pitched growl; as angry as Romeo was, his temper could easily be mistook for a child's temper tantrum.

By this point, anything anyone did was an offense.

"Everything is wrong! Everyone here is pathetic. Yiu ruined this for me! You've all ruined my life!"

He was only 2 cycles old, after all; baby fluff still covered his form and he was still only around half the size of his noise-maker.

The raccoon dog's eyes had gone more than slightly bloodshot and a little bit of foam lingered at tge side of his mouth. Then, it seemed, everything got too much for him; suddenly the tanuki pup burst out crying, his mouth wide open as it began with an angry and upset howl.

"I just wanted one thing in the world! ONE THING!!" He yowled, plucking all the strings of his noisemaker to create a distorted tune. "Bu' none of ya wanted me to find it! But I'll find it one day! BUT FOR NOW HEAR ME SING! HA!"

He tried to keep the bassline going but eventually it faded out, leaving Romeo complaining without any atmosphere, not that he needed it.

Long ago, when others started to come into the are around the flower, Nettle heard them, his ears flickering towards the oncoming sounds. He nudged at his sister who seemed so infatuated with the flower to just up and leave. It really wasn't worth it when so many voices were coming towards them at once.

So before anyone showed up, both Nettle and Fever just left. There were too many to fight, if it came to that, and Nettle wasn't particularly in the mood to fight over some silly flower.

(Making them leave so they don't start a fight with these carnivores ;3;)
Nettle nudged her and she tore her eyes away from the pretty flower reluctantly, and when she did so, she heard the voices and steps too. Nettle wanted to leave, and though Fever would've loved a good challenge if the strangers turned out to be monsters, Nettle was right, there were too many of them. She needed to be the bigger gembound and keep her brother safe. He had enough scars as it was.

So she followed him and left before anyone showed up, with one last longing glance at the flower.
