"Maybe we'll have to go up to others and ask them to perform their spell? Or, well, spells," Kallista murmured. "There's bound to be all kinds of different spells. I've only really ever seen mine, and yours, I guess." Her smile grew a bit bigger upon seeing Todd's reaction to her agreement.
"Well, I don't know if that'd work for me. Not really very specific," she chuckled. "With my spell...uh, well, I guess you don't really want to know anyway." Kallista shifted her paws a bit awkwardly. Of course he wouldn't want to know! He was terrified of the spell, clearly. Why would he want to use it? She berated herself for even mentioning the spell.
@Todd
"O-oh! maybe we will, maybe we will," Todd said, frowning slightly. He much preferred the idea of finding them. Or perhaps Kallista could do the talking, whilst the little fox watched from a distance? No, then he wouldn't learn the spell. Todd didn't really like the idea of talking to strangers... But he wanted to get stronger, and stronger, and stronger. H'd seen firsthand what it could do, and he wanted to know it. Then someday, he'd be able to strike back with twice the force, and do to them what they intended to do to him.
He didn't want to feel this pain anymore. That was incentive enough.
"let's go find these spells!" he declared, stamping his paw on the ground with a pronounced
clink! Seeming not to notice Kallista's hesitation, the little fox dragged himself up onto his paws and began to make his slow way away.
"We gotta find some others. right?" he turned back, panting, towards her to make sure she was keeping up.
"Race yah!"
He began to hobble away, a determined look on his face, not seeming to realize that racing was a game, and that the aim was to be the fastest. That, or he felt like the fastest creature in the world. Who knows?

"Asking them just seems like it would be easier, right? There's no guarantee we'll find someone doing their spell everywhere we look, so whenever we find someone, it just feels like we should ask them to do their spell. Hopefully they'll do it..," her voice trailed off.
Kallista chuckled as Todd stamped him paw on the ground, and clinking sound following directly afterward. "Alright, let's go." She followed him, letting the silver fox take the lead. "Race? You want to race? Well, if you insist..." She picked up the pace a little, still trying to make sure he was mostly in the lead. She picked up the pace a little bit more, and was now slightly in front of him. She was excited to go out and look for these spells, especially considering she didn't have anything else to do. She wondered just how many spells there were.
