So. The world was not filled with wolves. There were many things that were not wolves. Like Az, who was a bird, and Beau, who was a dog, and... This thing. That was a... small... thing.

What was it? He tried to examine it without openly staring but it was quite hard not to. She was small, with a long neck and long legs. Like himself, and she. But she wasn't she and she wasn't a wolf. She was... a big-eyed... thing. With an interesting butt. Where was her tail? Did she not have one?

Well. She was Bonebound. Like him. So that meant they were... friends, he guessed. Or associates. Or accomplices. Or just a couple of critters that were on the same side in the grand scheme of things. So he shouldn't be shy, right? Besides! He was bigger than her. Why should he be shy? What was she gonna do? Nibble him to death?

Working up his confidence (that for some reason he seemed to lack for once) Saudade ventured closer to the deer-like creature. He attempted to be casual about this, but he wasn't completely sure how she'd react to his question. While he knew all of the Bonebound were supposed to be good friends, most of them he didn't even know. They were just critters Aza'zel had collected as far as Saudade knew them...

"So..." He cleared his throat, swishing his tail in - what he tried to make to be - an 'amiable' greeting. "You're... Fortune, right?"
