Destiny grinned, her excitement mounting by the second.
"Yeah! It was a weird d-day." Destiny chuckled at the memory. Many tiny headaches were involved that day... which wasn't fun at the time, but thinking about it, who else had ever had a runaway chrysalis?
She laughed.
Just her luck, of course.
"When I was trying to get out, my ch-chrysalis broke off and started rolling away, with me still in it! It almost fell in the water, but a nice lady c-caught me." she explained, giggling. It was funny now, but it had been... erm... quite the adventure, at the time.
Feeling herself being lifted higher, Destiny observed the world, feeling like a king atop a huge throne, or a bird!
At his words, Destiny felt her velvety fur prickle with emotion.
"L-love?" she asked shyly, her eyes round with happiness. No-one hasd ever called her that before. How could she respond? What could she call him back? Mulling over it for a few moments, the platypus then realized she'd neglected his question.
"O-oh, it's so wonderful! I've never seen anything like it b-before! I love it up here!"
Every part of her voice sang with excitement and sincerity.
