This will not be glamorous...it will be done quickly and too the point :'D I'm not spending a week getting it done like I did with Hasira.
Tears blurred the lioness' vision. Paws thundered over the cave's floor as they raced through tunnels with no true destination. Everything was just wrong. The vision still flashed before her minds eye. Replaying the events that would surely come to pass. The horrific scene choking her breath and causing her legs to tremble greatly. Soon the moss flooring cushioned her paws and she found herself racing through Eridanus. It was an easy task to get half way across the cavern, over the trench, and ultimately to the furthest point of the cavern before her legs finally gave out.
Sobs burst from Makyna as she fell to the ground. Huffing and panting for the oxygen her burning legs begged for. There was no way it was true. Her vision of death had to be absolutely wrong. Makyna wasn't sure how long she lay there lost to her emotions. But eventually her sorrows wore themselves out and it seemed she had no tears left to shed. Sniffling loudly, hiccuping every once in awhile, Makyna raised her head and looked around slowly. Ears twitched and moved, searching for a sound that seemed to be coming from near by.
A startled cry escaped Makyna when a large creature suddenly burst from some fern bushes. She jolted back, leaning back upon her haunches as she frantically tried to calm herself down. "Pheo?" Her shaky, broken voice came forth as she furrowed her brows in confusion at the frantically squealing dragonbat. The fluttering of his wings and his frantic sounds he was making confused Makyna the most. Since she had known the creature he was not one to go displaying such things.
Slowly she rose to her paws and stepped forth only to frown when the dragonbat screeched louder and jumped at her, as if trying to say something. She opened her mouth to say something, but the shifting of the fern bushes drew her attention once again. Makyna held her breath as she slowly moved towards the gathering of fern bushes. Pheo's franticness seemed to grow, but the lioness payed it no mind. Without hesitation makyna pushed her head into the bushes and peered at what could possibly be making the noises. Perhaps it was what pheo was trying to get her attention for.
A large form was curled up there, huddled into itself as dirt covered the creature. Blood was thick on the air now and Makyna was surprised she had not smelt it before. It wasn't fresh, but it was suffocating. She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to make of this. "A-Arkrael? Is that you...?"
