Kallista growled as she ended up crashing into the ground beside him. She quickly got up and backed away, eyes narrowed. She watched, and when he grinned while staring at her eyes, she felt a shiver go down her back. She suddenly had a very bad idea about this. What was he planning now? When he crouched and leaped, she soon found out.
She could feel sharp, pointed claws at her eyes and panicked. She writhed under the caracal, who had pinned her down, but it was no use. Next thing she knew, she felt an excruciating pain and realized something was off. Blood was pooling in around her eyes, and she yowled. She thrashed, trying to scratch the caracal above her, get him off, make him make this pain go away, something!

Imperia had pinned the cat down, and had managed to scratch her left eye out. He flung the eye away and stared down at the gravely injured cat, a grin on his face. She began to thrash around, and knocked the caracal away. For someone who just lost an eye, she was pretty tough. He landed some distance away and stood, staring at her, waiting to see what she would do next. The battle was finished, as he doubted this cat could attack her anymore than the random thrashing she had done. She just lost an eye, after all.

Kallista succeeded in her attempts to throw the caracal off, but what did it matter? She was badly injured! She couldn't see anything out of her left eye and it hurt so much. She could tell there was blood running down the side of her face. She looked up and saw the other watching her, a stupid grin on his stupidly smug face. He had won, and both of them knew it. Of course he had won. She just lost an eye!

Imperia chuckled.
"You know, something about you seems missing. I just can't put my paw on it!" He slowly began to circle her, eyes shining with victory. Sure, he had fought before. Many times. But actually giving someone a permanent injury such as this? That was new. And he
loved it.
"I guess I just can't see it." He stopped in front of her, claws digging into the ground, head held high as he stared down, eyes still flashing with the look of victory and success.

Slowly, ignoring the pain as best she could, she lifted herself with a grunt. Kallista glared at him, but it looked in no way intimidating and did nothing but make the pain worse. She fell back against the ground as he stopped circling her. She scowled at him. "Gee, I wonder what it could be," she grunted. There was nothing she could do. She hoped he would leave soon, just let her be. She was tired of seeing him, and never wanted to see that smug on his face or feel his claws on her skin. Now that the adrenaline was gone, her wounds hurt even more and she just wanted to lay here for a while.
