Everything was quiet as he trekked towards the hollow caverns that made up Canis. Scattered portions of skeletons littered the tunnel until one emerged within the full belly stacked up with skulls and bones. Louie had grown used to seeing such death, his eyes were lidded and a yawn saw a flash of teeth. A shiver ran down his spine, however, the predictions of the mad hyena still sent him chills. However, they no longer plagued his dreams with the presence of Penelope who offered him some form of relief from the torment. The fox's tail lashed behind him, as he began to walk his way through the winding pillars. Nose raised, he inhaled deeply to try and pinpoint the disgusting stench of carrion that wafted off Giggle.
At the moment, he had no quarrel with Bonebound. To try and assimilate them would be suicide due to the strength they possessed across numbers and mutants. That damn cerberus creature lived here, the one who had pushed Vazi to the brink. Over a crime that Louie had committed and in turn been both punished and rewarded for. The eye that sat within the mass of scar tissue was a reminder of the battle between herbivore and carnivore. The reward. Other than that, he saw no reason to be afraid walking through marked territory. Should he come across a hostile, he was confident in his ability to remove them from the picture.
"Giggle?" A whisper.

"DO NOT FORGET WHO I AM"
"DO NOT FORGET I AM IN YOUR HEAD"

Since the "Thing" happened between himself and his son, Eythan, Aza'zel had been slowly returning to the dull monotony of kingly duties. Patrol, hunt a little, patrol some more. It helped to keep his mind off of everything that troubled his mind. It helped the Bone King return to what could he called normal life. He doubted he could ever fully make a return to it, though. Not after all that had happened to him, not after all of the losses he had suffered from. So many had died under his rule, and he wasn't sure how many more would follow. At times, he considered giving it all up. Just, letting go of it all. Kerberos was always there to talk him out of it. Aza'zel sometimes wondered what release felt like, though.
He didn't have time to wonder today.
From the shadows of Canis, the lammergeier watched as a fox strutted into his home like he owned the place. Lowering his head, Aza'zel squinted. Something about the Gembound was so familiar. He knew he'd seen them before, but where? His curiosity got the best of him as he tugged at his magicka, searching for a name via telepathic magicks. Fate was far from on his side as a sharp pain shot through his head and down his spine, simultaneously like fire and electricity. Biting his own tongue, Aza'zel convulsed, lifting his wings to his head to help stifle any noise that he should make. Slowly, the pain ebbed away like a stream emptying into an ocean. The avian sat in silence for a moment, carmine-and-golden gaze glinting from beneath an ivory skull.
Finally, a voice came, asking for someone long gone. Aza'zel spread his wings, seldom flapping them to be as silent as possible as he landed before Louie."Giggle is not here," he said simply.
