A green chrysalis sat among green leaves, blending in near perfectly. The chrysalis was also green, allowing it to be barely noticeable unless one looked closely. Inside, a small creature resided. They moved restlessly, hind legs kicking out occasionally. After a particularly strong push, a crack surfaced. The thrusts began to grow stronger, each one summoning a crack until finally a side gave way.

A little badger clambered out, looking around with black eyes. She had no idea where she was. The place was green. Everywhere she looked, there was green. Leaves and vines, moss and lichen. There was a stream somewhere in the room. She slowly began to walk around, seeing what all there was. It didn't seem like anyone was nearby, but that could be changed soon.

OOC: I'd just like to say that I likely wont be on this week starting tomorrow and up until the 13th due to being out of the country. Do not expect any replies until the 13th, possible 12th.

Finally, Iridae had found a warmer, dryer place than where she had been previously. He decided that he hated being wet or cold, and that he’d have to avoid such places in the future. Of course, knowing him, he became bored far too easily and quickly to stay in one place very long. So he’d probably be back in the cold wet places soon enough. But for now, he was here, in the bright warmth of Eridanus. And there was the sound of another Gembound nearby. He fluttered around the trees, trying to see where the other creature was, for he often sought out the company of others.

Eventually, he found the Gembound walking around seemingly without purpose, looking around curiously. Iridae fluttered down toward her, landing in front of her perhaps a foot or two away. Probably too close, but he had no sense of personal space. “Hello!” he said cheerfully. “What’s your name?”

Words: 155 @Farran
Farran continued to look around when something caught her attention. She looked around before noticing a small creature landing in front of her. She blinked at his words. Her...name? She thought for a moment. What was her name? "My name is...Farran. What is yours?" She didn't particularly care what his name was, but she supposed she may as well ask.
