Life is precious.
His little jig of joy was contagious and the lioness found herself dancing on her four paws, claws extended to keep herself balanced on the root. It wasn't until her friend slipped that she paused in her happy dance and extend a paw to try and grab him. However, he managed to right himself without her help so she let him be, only giving a concerned look in his direction. Was he alright? If they needed to they could spar another day. It seemed as if the vulture didn't want to speak of how he'd almost fallen from his perch as he moved right on to a different subject. With one last concerned look at him the lioness nodded her head. "Yeah! I wonder what secrets they hold." She was so interested to see the memories of a golem... if they had any.
"Yeah! Magic fight!" She kneaded her paws on the bark in anticipation while the bird dissipated the mist around them. Whoa... His powers were cool. She had nothing like that... What would she ever do? "I'm ready." And she was for a plan formed in her mind.
The little lioness sat down on the root and began licking at her chest fur. It probably looked as if she'd forgotten all about the fight but that was far from true...
In her head she was pulling on the magic from her gem to release a huge burst of her power and it worked. While it looked as if she wasn't paying attention to anything but in all reality she was just trying to put Aza off so that her spell would have more of an effect. When she relased the energy from her gem it was a blast of concentrated mental power, a sharp and high-pitched scream. This scream wasn't verbal though, it was mental and wouldn't be heard by Aza's physical ears but it would be heard in his brain. The lioness hoped it would startle him and perhaps make him fall from his perch.
