It wasn't like Sköll was shirking his duties. There was hardly much to do since the Ulfric of the Guardians retreated to her chrysalis to recover and that he knew that Salethyr was alright and well. The cub was growing larger and stronger by the day, and Sköll felt at peace enough to allow himself to explore the Caves a little. In that time, Hati had decided he would front for a while, giving the moon a rest.
Bright orange pupils glowed in the dim cave full of bioluminescent mosses and various fungal growths, flicking from here to there and back. Hati smiled quietly as he extended one leg up to a higher-up rock and found his grip. After that, he pulled himself up and stood atop the precipice coated in verdent growth. Without much thought, his stone began to work it's magic for the first time since Tag-und Nacht's emergence. The rainbow obsidian's colors shifted and glowed erratically, and the sun felt his paws almost smoldering. Lifting them, they seemed fine. However, when he placed them back down, the mosses were reduced to smoldering ashes. Giving a small yelp as it got too hot, Hati backed up and cut off his sources of magicka, inspecting the ashes."Excellent." Perhaps he'd live to see Ragnarök, if that was even a thing, caused by his hands. 'I suggest you don't cause Ragnarök, brother.' "Alright, goody two-shoes," the man scoffed to what was basically himself, laughing a little. Once more, perhaps. He called upon his magic again.
