Amaria
You fell away,
What more can I say?
The feelings evolved,
I won't let it out,
I can't replace...
Your screaming face,
Feeling the sickness inside

Boredom was something that Amaria seemed so familiar with these days. No longer did she have Carcino to keep her company. No longer did she even have her cubs to keep her busy tending to them. Eythan was still here, sure, but that little cub had so much going on that he was generally doing something or another that did not require Amaria's full attention. She wasn't exactly social with the other bonebound members, but that also tied into the fact that ever since the slumber not many seemed to be traversing Canis as it was. Not even several of the members. She hadn't even seen Giggle around and she was usually always by her pit of bones and rot.
Amaria had found her way into the Bone Fortresses, padding her way towards the one her eldest daughter had once called hers. Shards of Scarsborough's gem still lingered far in the corner and she pondered for a moment how cure had even managed to sneak one of those to Canis without anyone knowing. A smile formed across her weary muzzle before she slowly allowed herself to sink down with a nice plop. Her dragon like tail curled, the tip flicking about at the tip, but Amaria did not sleep. No, her mind was still a mess of thoughts and twisting emotions. She missed Carcino terribly. Missed sleeping next to him and the warmth he had always provided, even before they had become what they had been.
Yet, she did not regret what had transpired. He was suffering. In ways that she could no longer help him in. Broken and ruined he was put to rest by one single person she had never expected it to be. Yet she did not feel any anger towards them. She had only regarded them with a quiet thank you for doing something that she could not. Her dear, precious mate was no longer in suffering. No longer tormented by events that could not be changed. He was at peace...and she should feel joy about this. But that did not stop her heart from aching. Every time she looked at Eythan she knew who he was made from. It set pains in her chest, but she would always push it aside and let a warmth of love trickle through for the cub. It was not his fault that Azazel had breathed life into a gem that should have been left to rest. All she could do was give her love and dedication to the cub, as any mother figure should, and hope that his past memories would not return. For Eythan's sake at least.
Amaria was lost in the torrent of her own thoughts, distracted completely from things that could come in and find her just laying there. Or..perhaps slither...
