Ghost felt so alone lately. Granted, it was under his own doing that he left Fornax and Iris behind, but he had a hard time finding comfort there wifh unquestionables lurking beneath the waters surface. He trusted Iris, but she like the others underwater, had a lot of things incommon. Ghist could swim, but not the same way. He felt it best to leave Iris in Fornax to make friends like her. She didn't need to feel bad for Ghost anymore, and to be honest, he didn't want her to. Ghost was different now, namely being he could see. His body was different too - larger and stronger. He had more confidence in himself, but not really today. The bipedal lycan found solace in walking around quadruped through eridanus, as awkward as it was. Having the structure of a two-legged made it difficult to walk on all fours, but thankfully his legs were the same general build as the wolf he was before. His knees nearly scraped the ground with every step, but it worked. There were a lot of new smells around eridanus, namely gembounds. It was harder to hunt here now, with the scent of the lessers mouffled by the scent of the highers. Plus the lessers probably ran away from this place with all the new smells. He wasnt particularly hungry, though. In fact, Ghost didn't know what he was doing here. He'd yet to meet the group that formed, although he knew they were here. He wondered if he knew of anyone here, but it wasn't like he'd recognize them. Hell, he didn't even recognize Makyna. With a sigh, Ghost stopped for a rest and a yawn. His ancient body sat against a tree, leaning against it somewhat comfortably for a light rest. Ot was a twinkle of something then that caught his eye - what was that? Ghost's eyes narrowed, trying to focus on it but failing. He sighed a bit and pulled himself up to crawl over to whatever was catching the light. Reaching for it and moving some dirt and leaves out of his way, he retrieved a moonstone. Squinting at it, he looked it over in his palm. How pretty... "Speech!" |
