The maned wolf's days had been spent mostly lazing around Monoceros, waiting for anything exciting to happen. When he got bored, and honestly it didn't take too long, he started to explore, only going so far away from the Merry Men each time, gradually getting farther and farther away. He had gone farther than he ever had before today, landing him in Polaris. As he entered the massive room, the gembound looked all around, taking it all in. Easily the most well lit room, it was almost too bright to the gembound. He squinted his eyes as he looked up at the ceiling, noticing what looked like stars. He wondered what they really were, however.
There was a lot going on in Polaris, compared to what he was used to anyway. A river cut the room in two, pretty much, but other things stood out, like the massively tall structure. Striding towards it, Othello's gaze followed the Spire's build to the top. It was an odd thing, that was for sure, and wondered if Louie knew anything about it. His head tilted in wonder, but his gaze moved to the other interesting things in the room. He'd have to remember to inquire about the Spire later when he actually found Louie.
That was part of the reason he was exploring so much as of late - looking for Odyssey and Iliad mostly, but Louie too. He missed the fox and fox hybrids company and longed for it again. He felt alone in Monoceros without them and like he really had no purpose there. He never questioned leaving, however.
Othello strode over to the river then, dipping his nose down towards the water to get a drink. Being such a large room, he wondered if others were around. He'd never met anyone out side of the Merry Men really, so he was a bit curious as to who else lived in this cave.
