He was far too gone to be saved now. Spiraling downwards at a steady rate until soon he would hit rock bottom. A toothy smile carved into the manics face as he pawed at the lifeless lesser gembound at his bloody paws. His maw, stained too with blood, dripped the liquid back onto the floor of the largest room, puddling at his feet. The cave deer was dead, been dead for some time. His first real kill in weeks, Ozias stood over it like he'd never eaten before. He wanted to protect his kill but eat it too. How could he protect it if he was busy eating it? Wild eyes darted around, pausing on the river, looking for anyone that threatened his meal. Satisfied he was alone, the man buried his face into the neck of the carcass, eager to begin his meal. Life away from Nova and the other gembounds didn't do anything to save him from the madness overcoming him. Although he wasn't clinically insane, he was off his rocker a bit. Solitude does this to pack animals, although Ozias was never one to enjoy many others company. Should Nova return from who or whatever kidnapped her, he wouldn't know what he'd do. He never knew a life without Nova until recently. Mostly skin and bones these days, the meal was very much worth the effort of catching and killing and protecting. Eating it made it even more worth the effort, as if he'd never eaten before. He could eat this entire cave deer, he thought, and mentally challenged himself to unless someone showed up before or during the process. They definitely weren't going to be met with a warm welcome, thats for sure. "Speech!" |
