It was unnaturally quiet from the stone, even as the lion inside kicked out blindly, struggling to break the stone. The creature inside wasn't hiding their fear about the rocking of the stone as they kicked out repeatedly, unsure what else it could do. Stopping for a moment to muster her strength, Lon kicked out a final time, hoping to break the stone.

There was a dull thud, and the stone she was trapped in rocked again, but no sign of being free greeted her. No cold air; only the stifling air she was trapped in. She didn't like it, but she supposed that she'd have to try again.
Well, that last time hadn't worked.

Lon didn't like being trapped in the stone any longer than she had to. She hated it, really. The cramped space she was in, the cocoon of sorts. Her back paws pulling closer to her stomach, as the stone felt cramped enough that she would have to do such, she kicked out blindly again, putting as much force into it as she could.

Finally, the bust of cold air greeted her. Nothing she had expected to see, however. Everything was still dark. Instantly, her ears flicked, the small cub trying to catch anything that might be moving towards her.

Lifting one paw, she pressed it down, relaxing slightly as the ground felt the same. She was still okay there, then.

Now, she just had to figure out if anything lived here. And if they were all trapped in the same darkness she was.
