So in light of the olympic fever some members have, I proposed the idea that we do an Origin Olympics event. Fira and Briar supported it and forced me to asked me to make this.

Since there aren't any "real" seasons we could do this once a year or twice if people like it?

Unless the event explicitly has something to do with magicka, spells are not allowed. In magicka based events spells that directly affect others (Such as making them feel sick/tired/etc) are not allowed.

If you have any ideas post here.

Current Ideas :

Obstacle Race - Based off of those pet obstacle races everyone's seen, where the animal jumps over hurdles, runs over seesaws, through tunnels, we'd do an Origin version of that. Bouncing across giant mushrooms, running on rocky terrain, etc.

Wrestling - Fighting based on weight and experience. Anyone 3+ cycles cannot fight anyone lower. Lightweight/Medium/Heavy divisions so that a poodle doesn't end up fighting an elephant or something.

Magick Contest - A series of contests in which the contestants attempt to impress the crowd with inventive use of magicka. This would be divided based on spell intensity or element.
We need some kind of opening ceremony. Maybe characters with Light Spells can do like a Light Show or something. Beforehand, Gembounds can collect fruits/plants/go hunting for meat so the spectators can munch while they watch.
I vote that there could be a whole decorating thread involving the pre-ceremonies where characters decorate and hunt and forage and all that good stuff :3
We also could have a set up thread beforehand where characters work together to move rocks and grow mushrooms/vines in the paths for the race.
Sounds like a good event to be starting :D. Love all the ideas.
This is me saying it can officially happen. It was presented to all staff to have a look.

@Game Master Briar

you're more than welcome to get the ball rolling.
