The avian's words were quite a mouthful. The earless serpent had a hard time following his story. It felt like a garbled cascade spilling over his body. Septiezal almost immediately began to regret his question, but he kept his mouth shut as she tried to make out what he could. He did catch a few sentences, such as about Mosi making the "stars" of Orion, something about a temper tantrum, being saved by Arcane magic, or was it Crane magic? He couldn't tell. But what was this? Did he just felt the raven tell him that Mosi tried to destroy his gem? Rip him to shreds? He was bigger monster than he imagined! The python gave a loud hiss when he felt this vibrations roll through his inner ear. Septiezal may have feasted upon Gembounds from all walks of intelligence, but he never destroyed their gems. He would always cough it up one way or another, so that it could be reborn. It felt like Mosi was also one to play with his food, how disrespectful. This new information infuriated him, but it also frightened the serpent as well.
"Killing to eat, I can understand, but killing for sport and destroying gems," He hissed, feeling no need to hide his disgust. "What a waste." He had no idea if he read the raven's words right, but he felt a need to voice his opinion.
At least leave it whole for the snake.
Septiezal flicked his tongue as he stared at bird, realizing he did not yet know his name. "I'm sorry that happened to you, Mosi will get what's coming to him." He said. Even if I have to give it to him myself.
"Speech."
