Others were so much farther than him and it corced a sigh from his lungs. He definitely wouldn't be winning this race, but it was the experience that counted, right? He was mad at Saga for being so far ahead, but it was too late now unless she just suddenly kept tripping everywhere. Either way, he wasn't even sure he was going to place.

Making it to the pile of rocks then, after finally making the laps around the spire, he nosed around in the pile of rocks, searching for one with a red dot on it. The more he looked, he realized whatever 'red' was was something he couldn't see. He snorted in the pile of rocks. Not to mention he was one of the last to the pile, making the rocks less likely in the pile. Annoyed and with a slight headache from hitting his braincase when he tripped earlier, he searched hard for a rock with a green dot on it, flipping each rock over with his nose or hoof to check each one.

Finally finding one, he picked up one of the nearby sticks as well and raced off with the rest!

After managing to push her stick upwards into the ground the equine turned her way back towards the start with her stone in her maw as she began to gallop in a dead sprint back to the track. Her mane and tail were flowing in the wind with how fast she managed to go, her legs were long blurs of motion as she threw everything she had into the last sprint. It was obvious now that even after the other competitors neared her that she would be the first one heading home. Quickly she passed the finish line with a joyous neigh and after slowing to a stop she rose onto her hind legs and boxed the air with joy.

Since Saga has finished her last leg and in an effort to speed things along further you now only have to wait One Day meaning 24 Hours from your last post before posting again. That is all, my lovelies! Good luck!

With the stick and rock in tow, he charged full speed towards the spire in an attempt to fall into line behind Saga. She had already passed the finish line while he and the zebra weren't too far behind, tieing for second so far. Once making it there, he desperately tried to stick the stick into the ground at the nase of the spire upright. It took a few tries and a few moments to get it to finally stay up, but he did it! All he had now was the last leg, the final stretch towards the finish line, and he sure hoped he made it. He couldn't lose to badly to Saga could he?

Before Destiny knew it, Kuto had taken off again. Destiny barely had the chance to call out to wish him luck, but warmth had made her heart soften. Determination told her she needed to get back on track and finish this lap!

It seemed the rest had done her some good as she took off in a wadfling sprint, following the track the others had formed with stampeding paws and hooves. By the end she'd begun to pant rather heavily, but soon after that she'd slowed and was feeling her way to the next obstacle. The rocks, right? Destiny felt a thrill of dread prickling through her fur.

How was she gonna do that?

Fully grown badger striped wolf, bolted over to the Crystal River her fur standing on ends in a flowing manner from the wind that is blowing in it that has collected from her acceleration. Now she is in front of it, the pile of rocks and sticks surrounded her. The flawless organized pile of rocks was a little bit spoiled by others who were fairly ahead of her peering through it. She takes it apart even more herself to find her own red rock, she didn't take it apart blindly though for she may fail to see one that was right in front of her. Her confidence has toned her impatience down a little bit so inspecting it with as much attention will be something she can do right now.

A little while later of looking at each rock and flipping them over to see if the rock was at the bottom of it, still yet to find it. Wonderful... Almost like having to find a needle in a haystack.

With a rock between his teeth and a stick between his lips, Kito galloped towards the Spire. He did not stop until he neared two sticks jutting from the ground like stalagmites. There are too others ahead of me, no way! One of them must have been Saga's and he thought he saw a black colt race ahead before him.

He trotted up to the sticks and lowered his dead to drop his items. Kito picked his stick back up vertically so that the sharp end was pointing out of his mouth. I hope I don't stab my throat. He thought. Kito pressed his hoof down around the other racer's branches. He felt the ground give in a little in one spot. The dirt must be soft here.

Kito stabbed the ground with the stick. He felt it slice through with ease. When he released it, he saw that his branch was firmly sticking upright, much like the others. A grin stretched across his muzzle. He couldn't believe that work on the first try. However, all of this felt strangely familiar to him, like he already did this, perhaps in a dream. He just couldn't put his hoof on it. The zebra shrugged off the pesky feelings of Deja Vu and dug his hooves into the dirt, galloping towards the finish.

Auditory hallucinations

This was it. The final stretch of the race was right in front of him and he haf a chance at ~~being the first to lose~~ falling in place behind Saga. Being so close actuated him towards the finish line, hopefully getting him to the end with ease! He didn't want anyone to pass him, afterall.

He made it about half way before tripping over his legs again! Crap! He had to hurry, lest the zebra catch up! he couldn't lose to him and he'd already lost to Saga, which really only angered him more.

Rinaotei is still stuck with the rocks, guaranteed now she's not winning this, seems like someone has already won now anyway. Poking the rocks with her muzzle or more specifically the nose like she was a hen to continue on her search for a different coloured rock, impatience progressively rising the longer she took with this. It truly was like trying to find a needle in a haystack, or a hay in a haystack... She keeps on flipping each one of the rocks over with her muzzle, paws and even tail for the ones behind she may have failed to check to no avail of that rock showing.

Thanatos would take second in this race if it was the last thing he'd do, he was adamantine about it. If you wanted it bad enough, it'd happen right? He certainly hoped so. It took a minute to gather his legs and stand from the fall he just had. They ached from the previous fall already, making them even worse now. His knees wobbled as he stood, testing his legs before looking behind him at the other contestants. The zebra was close, with the other two behind them even. Snorting, and pushing past the pain, the little colt bolted off towards the finish line in an effort to really just not fall again. He wasn't sure he could get up if he did.

When the moment came that he did cross the finish line, he nearly tripped once more as suddenly staying upright wasn't important anymore. His knees wobbled again and he breathed heavy, his sides expanding out more than usual. Although he was the first to lose, he did walk away with his name in the top three. That was enough to be proud of.
