ORIGIN

Xin moved on from encountering the slug-like creature. He decided to go to Pisces. Why, he wasn't sure. He walked along the cave wall, looking to see if anyone was nearby. He couldn't really tell if someone was. He hoped not. He's had enough social interaction, thank you very much. He continued walking along, occasionally shaking some of the water on the ground off his paws.

He soon came across a waterfall. Tilting his head, he watched the water as it cascaded down. It was slightly mesmerizing. After some time of staring at it, he looked around. If someone was nearby, he wanted to get away, and fast.

(I'd just like to say that i'd prefer if someone was really talkative joined this thread o:)

The little slug didn't seem to get the memo that the other creature had had enough. When they'd left, she'd followed, in her slow and squirming manner. She'd made a friend, and she didn't want to leave them! She wanted to stay with them, and then she'd no longer be alone.

She thought she'd lost them after a while, and her heart sank. But she kept squirming forward after them. Why didn't other creatures have slime trails...?

After what seemed like forever, she saw a figure in the distance. The air was less cold and she found herself able to squirm faster. The mist left a cool moisture to soothe her thirsty skin. Her claws twitched and wriggled and she launched her way forward, her maw opened wide and her throat trying to call them.

"Aieeek! Aieeek!" she gurgled, in a struggle to form words with her voice.

"Speech looks like this."
"Thoughts looks like this."

Xin was staring at the waterfall when a noise caught his attention. Scowling, he turned to face it, wondering who or what it was. Immediately upon seeing the slug, however, his scowl was replaced with surprise. What was she doing over here?Had she...followed him? He sighed. It seems as though now that he had befriended the little one, she...might stick with him.

He walked closer so she wouldn't have to go so far. He lay down beside her, staring at her with his black eyes, and his head tilted. Did she want to play again? Why had she followed him? He nudged her lightly with his nose, unsure of what else to do.

Squeaking excitedly, the little one covered the last few meters between herself and her friend, although they made it a lot easier. Soon they were beside her, and lay down. A small squawk of excitement emerged from her, before her jaws closed and instead a purr settled in, causing her ridged chest to vibrate. The slug turned towards Xin and bumped her slimy head into him, her body curling and snuggling up.

Before long though, her youth had taken over, and she had suddenly noticed the world around. A questioning squeak escaped her and she wriggled around, peering past Xin and finding the waterfall. Her maw opened wide as it could, and she chirped excitedly.

What was that?!

She began to wriggle her way towards it, halfway there turning back to make sure Xin was coming with her.
