ORIGIN

my depression has been kind of acting up lately and absolutely killing my muse, so i haven't been posting as i'd have liked. but!! i wanted!! to make a post here to let everyone know i'm not leaving or abandoning the site, i just think i need to take a little while to get out of this funk i'm in.

i actually had to stop treatment for a time because of some side effects i was having, and it's been kind of jarring lately, so i've "lost interest" in most everything, not just origin. it's been getting worse over the past 2 months or so, but luckily i'm restarting the treatment tomorrow and so i should be back in the foreseeable future <3

i also have @vega, he'll be back too. i'm just not feeling much of any creative muse right now, and the little i do have is going towards a friend group. honestly, i have a lot more creativity in these characters, which makes them more fun but it also makes it hard to play them right now when i'm not really... putting out any sort of creative thought.

so!! sorry for my absence, it wasn't intentional, you just can't really predict these things i guess. i know i still have interest in origin and i'll definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later. nothing to do with you guys, i've sort of dropped out of everything without knowing it, so of course i'll have to do what i can to fix that.

As for the depression, I totally know what that feels like... I've been through it a couple of times in life myself. It sure does suck, but if you just hold on tight and keep on going, I'm sure you'll come around. It might take weeks or months, but you'll make it eventually; just have faith in yourself and do whatever it takes. It's good to hear that you're going through treatment for it.

Don't worry about this place, from what I've seen, everyone will understand. No-one ever gets annoyed about lack of activity and people are always supportive. If you ever need anyone to talk to, feel free to shoot a PM my way!
