An Aries! What an interesting word - though she truly had no idea where all of the words she knew had come from, she knew even less where that one had come from, for it held no meaning for her. Was an Aries a large creature? Were Aries fluffy, as this one seemed? Innumerable questions floated about in her mind, each as quick as the next and then gone - there was so much for her to learn! She’d only been alive for minutes, and barely at that, but already she was like a sponge for knowledge, thirsty for more.

“An Aries! Are all Aries as big as you? Are you the only Aries?” She flapped again, eyes wide as they were bright - even with all that stomping and strutting the Aries was doing, she couldn’t find it in her to be afraid just yet - he presented an opportunity to learn, after all, even if he didn’t seem to like her much just yet. She hoped his attitude wouldn’t sour further. They were only just beginning to know each other, after all, and could he really blame her for being scared when he’d first approached? Let bygones be bygones, she thought. Whatever bygones were.

“I don’t know if I’m the only me. I don’t have a special word for ‘me’ yet. Maybe I’ll figure it out someday. Hey!” She had looked away as she spoke, admiring the strange rocky formations about them, when all of a sudden she looked back at him from her tangent, watching him expectantly. “Do you know a special word for me? What I am?”
