Since the very beginning of her life, Kin-Kin's growth had been exponential, and progress had been slow for a while. She still worked hard to improve, of course, and now it felt like she teetered on the very brink of something great.

In an attempt to find out what, Kin-Kin had returned all the way here- to the very place she was born. That moonstone casing she'd emerged from lay beneath the crumbling spiral staircase, gathering dust and probably playing host to a spider or two. Blinking, the wolf wandered over, marvelling at the change in size; her head wouldn't even have fit in there, now.

It'd been so long, and would you look at her now.

Kin-Kin looked upwards, and the stairs of the tower spiralled off into darkness high above her. In an effort to light the way, Kin-Kin dropped her chin to her chest and focused in on the power she held within.

Immediately her fur lit up with bright beauty. And then, one paw after the other, she climbed that spiral staircase, her blade clinking gently with her movements and hard claws clicking against stone.
