Kin-Kin grinned. Their childish wonder fed her ego and she was about to make it even moreso. "I ain't finished yet," she told them proudly, puffing out her bejeweled chest. After this, she dropped her muzzle down towards the object she'd created, and touched her nose to the pristine, yet tiny thing.

She looked deep inside for the glow she'd put into the fading orb above them, and as the world faded into darkness, Kin-Kin herself was dark; she'd put her magic, and thus her light, into everything around her. The only light, was the first blue gem that she'd made.

And yet, the world remained in darkness yet. Kin-Kin shuffled slightly in the dark, letting out a nervous chuckle. "...Heh, one sec. this might take a little longer."

@Astaroth
Astaroth grinned when she let out the nervous chuckle, it seemed that something hadn't gone right with her spell. It happens, he of all would know. He had practiced both of his powers often since he had gotten them, only hoping that they would work, they seemed to work often but you could never be certain. He watched her shift uncomfortably and had to force himself not to laugh. This definitely wasn't part of her plan. "I hate it when that happens, you do a spell you feel familiar with and it just doesn't seem to want to work... like when I tried to whisper past you when you were walking along past me." Astaroth laughed at this. It seemed oddly funny that his failure would end in him meeting one as great as her.

Kin-Kin lowered her ears slightly, embarrassment at their words causing her fur to stand on end. "Heh-heh... perhaps..." she muttered, lifting her gaze slightly before prodding the gem again with the tip of her wet nose. She didn't want to admit it but... magic could be temperamental at times, even for one as great as her. "Ahem. Anyway, I'm concentrating."

Kin-Kin closed her eyes and let the magic flow...

in the darkness, the beautiful gem lit up with light, easily visible in the darkness, and brighter than the first she'd made. Her face split into a grin, and she raised her head not only to admire her work, but to look at the pup's reaction.

@Astaroth
Astaroth slightly chuckled at the wolf's embarrassment , it seemed even the greats mess up sometimes. He watched though as she concentrated, slightly perturbed and the magic worked, the gem glowing even brighter than the one he was holding, he gasped and stared at it, wondering how such a thing was even possible from mortal hands. "How... a-are you a god?"
He asked jokingly in no way supporting the growth of a kin-kin demigod complex. He looked up at her in wonder trying to see how she was able to do such a thing.

"A god, you say?" Kin-Kin asked, intrigued by the thought. "Well, if they existed, I don't doubt that I would be." Kin-Kin grinned, wholeheartedly encouraging the pup's awe of her.

"It takes countless cycles of training, blood, sweat and tears to become what I am now. Perhaps you can do the same, but no other Gembound will ever come close to being the Magical Champion as I am!" Kin-Kin grinned, believing her own word wholly. "But you can try. I must say, what better tutor could you have?" Kin-Kin pushed the glowing crystal to the paws of the pup.

"Take your pick. I can make more."

" speech "

@Astaroth
Astaroth slightly flushed at this under his fur. "T...tutor?" Was she offering to take him under her wing? Er... paw? If so, he would be more than gracious to accept her offer. He looked her in the eyes to try and see her intent with this comment. He hoped that she was saying what he thought he was but he was so dumbfounded by the idea of it that he couldn't tell completely.

"Uh-huh," Kin-Kin affirmed with a nod. "Tutor. I've got the knowledge, and plenty to share. Wouldn't that be nice?" The golden she wolf left the glowing crystal at the pup's paws and slowly stood up on all fours, stretching out her paws ahead of her, she felt several of her bones crack, and padded softly on the path that she was taking before, motioning with her tail for the pup to follow. Her crystalline blade in its sheath gently clinked against the crystal tendrils wrapped around her foreleg.

She cleared her throat, ready to show the kid exactly what made her so special... uh... and teach them in the process, of course.

" speech "

@Astaroth
Astaroth looked up at her, his eyes seeming to shine even in the dark. He wagged his tail and jumped on her, putting his paws on her chest and licking her face. He jumped back down and grinned at her, wagging his tail, he thought that his behaviour probably explained his feelings toward that particular arrangement. He sat on his haunches and looked at him, cocking his head.

Kin-Kin was unprepared for the reaction of the clearly over-exciteable puppy, and she tried in vain to raise her head out of the reach of that slobbering tongue, but they managed to mess up her fur all the same and leave her face all slobbery. Her ears slowly went back and she offered them a pitiful look. "...Thanks for that," she said sarcastically, shaking her head. Unfortunately, that only managed to make her fluff out more- thus making her even messier than she was a minute ago. Kin-Kin decided to ignore it, puffing out her chest and looking as dignified as she possibly could.

"So, kid.... first lesson is a go," she began, adjusting the placement of her paws. "First thing ya gotta know is... if ya think ya can't do it, you're right. so ya gotta shake out all that nasty logic that everyone has. Get it?" She swished her tail and upturned her nose.

" speech "

@Astaroth
Astaroth looked up at her, he was confused as to why she had such an averse reaction to him licking her, he only did a couple times and her fur looked just the same as normal. He found it hard to slightly laugh at her for it. Especially when she shook her head and managed to mess it up herself. "That's actually... pretty smart... if you don't believe in yourself you can't do anything."
