ORIGIN

A little more energy in her being. She left the comfort of the water, wandering the bank to discover the body of some kind of fish. She hadn't tried fish before, but now seemed a good time. A foot on it's tail for support before her beak picked off bits of the scaly, slimy skin. The meat and innards were what she really wanted. It tasted quite delicious, eating slowly and savoring it. She'd need to look for more fish more often. Giga had obviously been missing out on such a delicacy. What made it even better was that this was a fresh death, and a rather large aquatic creature.

Slowly, she wandered about, looking around, finding wonder all around her. She'd never really been in Pisces before. She started to wonder why, as it was worth the exploration. Gigatsu ended up in the Warren. The moss at her feet was soft, inviting. Even slower her walk became. Her eyes looked at the various fungi, the scent pleasing. She'd definitely need to grow some on her feathers and flesh, to carry this magnificence on her very being, just as she did her little plants.

Quietly, she climbed up to the rolling floor, inspecting more moss, lichens and grass. She found herself dropping down onto it and rolling, the became mindful of her sage, ending up back on her stomach. With her wings stretched out, she lowered her head to the ground, closing her eyes and breathing it all in. How pleasant it was seemed particularly indescribable.

I wonder if Tacitus has seen this place, yet. Has Hellebore? They both should cme here. I think they'd enjoy it. To learn and appreciate what is here in this lovely environment. Maybe... maybe I should move here. Call this home.

It was tempting. The fish was delicious after all. She could sleep in this spot, comforted by the many senses this place seemed to touch, despite her repeated disappointments with her magicka.

With some reluctance, Giga stood again and wandered. This time she found herself among dirty little ponds, discovering more deceased fish. It seemed there were plenty of live ones swimming, quite fine. No reason to become suspicious of the state of the water, so she ate until she felt like she could burst. Her weight to heavy to fly now, she kept her travels to her feet. The good ol' heel-to-toe express. A fish out of water gasped for breath, strong enough to flail about. Quickly, she ran to it, a bit of a waddle to her step. Without hesitation, she shoved it back into the pond and watched it float for a moment before darting off into the darkness of the murky pool.

One last shot before she called it a day. A deep breath was taken, intentions placed upon the Fungi element, now. The moisture that had accumulated on her feathers gave her a chill, but also helped nourish the various lifeforms in her skin. Joining the ranks was a little bright red toadstool, young and sweet. Someday it would grow larger and, she hoped, grow old enough to spread more life upon her back. What an interesting way of being this was. A lifestyle she couldn't back out of, now. One last smile, then she collapsed upon the ground, exhaustion taking hold and forcing her into sleep.
