The fastcold was making an odd sort of whistling sound, something that she wanted to replicate. It was nice and calming. She sat down near a roughcold and tried to replicate the sound. Instead, she coughed, forcing her to stay in that spot for a few seconds while she regained control of her breathing. She stood again, finding it much easier than the first two times.
Continuing onwards, the fastcold was much more prominent here, faster and harsher. She backed up- she had enough of cold and wanted to hunt instead. She swept her tail around, feeling the smoothcold that wasn't as smooth as the area behind her.
She searched methodically over the smoothcold, looking for something to stop the feeling in her stomach. She stopped her tail over a small, moving raise from the smoothcold. It buzzed, making an odd sort of tingly feeling in her tail that made her shift her tail. It buzzed again, the buzznoise going upwards before she lifted a paw and batted it to the ground. She ate it, feeling a bit better but not enough to call away the stomach feeling that she didn't like.
Still, she would rather rest than hunt, and so she curled up next to the roughstone, closing her eyes and sleeping for the first time since she had left her chrysalis.
She was stirred away from her sleep by a sound. She got to her feet, turning her head towards the source of the sound. Her mind translated it into a greeting- could this be a protector? "H-hi!" she stammered out, hearing her voice reflect around the roughcold. She felt out with her tail, trying to locate the source of the sound. It was something big, bigger than her. The thing had many, many feathers, ending in a roughwarm thing with pokey things on the end. She gathered her wits and tried to speak again. "Wh-what you?" She could tell that her words had been quiet, but then, so were the creature's. She crawled closer, feeling a bit higher for its head. More feathers and a smoothcold object at the end that was also pokey.

"I'm a.. a-a.." she started, completely failing speech.
"I'm a quo- quoll!" she said, unknowing of where she got the information from, but just innately knowing that she was quoll.
"I.. I quoll!" she repeated, happy to know the information.
"You big." she stated, her mind spinning in a completely different direction.
"Do big-feather have food?" she asked. Her hunt had only provided her with a small squishy-thing, and after her hours of sleep, the stomach-feeling was back. She put her tail against the roughcold again, to get an
explicit idea of where she was.

Felina, a runty female bobcat, was doing some exploring today. She'd passed by a new-looking area, but just kept on going. She could always explore it later. Right now, though, two different scents made her curious.
After a moment, she found the source of both scents: A blue-colored bird-like creature and something she couldn't identify (Ciani). Keeping a proper distance, she introduced herself: "Hello. My name's Felina. What are your names?" Her voice was warm, kind and friendly-sounding.
((OOC: I just returned to ORIGIN after a very long absence. Please forgive me for writing such a short post.))
"Pleased to meet you, Amras. Why do you call this place 'room of howling winds'? I don't hear any howling or feel a wind...not at the moment, at least." She was merely curious, of course.
The second scent still evaded Felina. She peeked behind Amras, but didn't move from her position. She knew better than to approach any closer without permission. "Oh! Hello, little one. I am Felina. Do you have a name?"
Her inquiry to the tiny stranger (Ciani) was in a gentle voice. Her intention was of friendliness, warmth and kindness. The smaller creature looked quite young. Her nose identified the other creature as female. Felina wondered if she could even talk yet.
