All of Bevy considered what Eeya said, and then what Cancer said. Ratchie seemed quite enthusiastic about the guest, and about everything, really, but that was usual for them. "Yeah, definitely! I hope you'll stay with us, Eeya..." A quick glance at their leader and a bright, eager-to-please tone took hold in their voice, "he'd make a good Scout, huh? So that means a Trial of Strength." They considered how that would work, considering none of them knew the water ways, but hey, they-- that is, Ratchie and Cancer-- could come up with something, surely!
"You should definitely teach Leon and Makyna and Cancer and Amaria... Do you think Midas can swim? Well anyway-- you should teach everyone! I don't think I could swim though... It would run my feathers and I need those to fly-- and no offense, but I really like being able to fly." With that, they spread their wings and hopped up into the sky again, spiraling over them. Everyone else could learn. It would be another thing to separate them-- a ping of sadness came echoing from deep up in their chest-- but the skill was too valuable to ignore.
"So what do you say, Eeya? Up to the challenge?"
Bevy considered the idea of what the challenge should include... Usually scout challenges involved exploring a place, but they liked to send recruits to places they knew... If there was a good place where they could meet-- actually, that was a great idea! Bevy wondered if Cancer would be again the idea, but she thought it was a perfect test. Scouts needed to be fast and strong, right?
They also need a good mental map of the area. Bevy knew how to get to Polaris, and the Dolphin had come from Polaris... So... "Alright, well, if it's alright for me to suggest..." Normally, she would have certainly sent for Leon's opinion, since he was the First Scout, but she had no clue where the fluffy bear was. So...
"As per usual, the Trial of Strength. Do you know where the Dam is in Polaris?" She hoped Cancer wouldn't worry too much-- he was a protective sort. She would fly above and it would be fine, surely. Golems couldn't swim, anyway. "Your mission is to go to Polaris, as quick as you can, and to the Dam there. Count the golems that still roam by there, and then return here. Sound good?"
Of course, Bevy wanted to make sure she was there to watch over Eeya's trial. "I'll scout ahead. If you have any question, just ask Can', okay? And don't worry, I'll stay out of the way!" With that, the tiny birb was off, fluttering towards the exit of Pisces-- she would have to hurry if she wanted to get there before the water torpedo did.
;; bevy exit (lmao hope this is okay? :3)
