Pippy does wonder if they did understand him, although hopefully them blinking in that sort of way means that they do, but the way they reacted when he said the term 'Magick' shows that he is getting somewhere. He too was somewhat surprised with awe at the bright light of their beautiful Gem glowing, since Zeno appeared to lack a visible Gem when they used a Spell this is the first time Pippy has seen a Gem glow like this. How did they do that? Is the glowing of the Gem caused by Magick too? If so why hasn't he figured it out yet? Although he has seen it he has yet to figure out how to use his Magick, Pippy isn't quite sure what kind of Magick he even has.
The glow eventually vanished, the use of Magick seemingly over now as they seem to get it completely, quick learner they are faster than Pippy is himself. He almost wants to ask them how'd they did that when they uttered the word 'Magick' too, though now that he thought about it there is some odd magical vibe that just comes off this one here, maybe they're just a natural? Maybe that's why their Gem has a peculiar patterned shape on it too?
He was taken by surprise when asked whether he was Magick too. He supposes he is, aafter all, Pippy also has a Gem; he should be capable of using Magick to his will as well. He'll try and give it a shot he's been hoping to use Magick too, although he worries of stage fright since the other does seem pretty excited to see his Magick. Alright well, he'll try and not let them down. Let's see... They seem to have managed to use Magick the moment he got the subject in their mind. Maybe think of Magick and by extension focus on his Gem the object that flows with it? Stretching his wings out, he shuts his eyes and tries to imagine only of Magick and just see if he can concentrate on his Gem, tensing his chest if he can to see if that'll help since that's where it is.
Unknownest to Pippy with his eyes still closed; his Gem was glowing subtlely, making it look like a sunbeam was weakly shining on stained glass windows as the various colours danced around. But Pippy couldn't feel anything or of any changes and by the time he opened his eyes the glow of his Gem faded so Pippy was left unsatisfied although it be satisfactory for the other Gembound as they could've possibly seen the dim light on Pippy's Gem.

She felt thoroughly disappointed that nothing seemed to have happened this may have been Pippy's first attempt at Magick and seeing another who appears not to have had any idea of the concept until now made Pippy a bit more confident in giving it a shot in winging it. If she had known that her Gem did, in fact, glow she would've felt more happy with herself instead she just feel a little bit insecure. Pippy looks down on the ground feeling let down of her failed attempt.
She looked at the other as to silently ask them if anything happened at all. But seeing the larger one tilt their head as if they're confused and waiting for her Magick to show itself made Pippy confirm to herself that nothing happened. But instead of feeling more disappointed she just got determined to give another attempt. Pippy won't let them be disappointed in her! She goes to give it another try this time her eyes are open so she can see if anything does happen this time she held herself in a confident stance as if in defiance to whatever force caused her Magick to fail the first time.
Finally, her Gem started to sparkle and shine vividly with a collage of coloured lights from her Gem which make coloured patterns of patterns of purple, blue and bronze on the ground. And eventually, a small plant began to slowly grow on the spot where her Gem is shining lights on the ground right before both of the two Gembound's eyes, and it becomes big enough to be almost about Pippy's size. The colours started to dull as the glowing of her Gem stopped, and Pippy looked at what she managed to do in awe.

The second attempt at Magic from the other Gembound came with better results. This time, when the bat’s gem glowed, it shone a spot on the ground. The wraith stared at this spot with obvious curiosity, her black eyes large as she wondered if this time would be different. And suddenly…
A plant! There was a plant sprouting from the ground at a rapid pace! An excited breath escaped from the wraith, her eyes reflecting the multi-colored light of the other’s gem. She said nothing, as always, but it was obvious that this new Magic intrigued her. When the plant stopped growing, she simply continued to stare at it in wonder for a few long seconds. Then she looked at the little bat, eyes shining, her expression asking if there was more that they could do.
@Pippy -- sorry this post sucks and I forgot about the thread for a week. >.<
What happened undoubtedly felt magical to Pippy, a new life growing magnificently right before his eyes by the magical shone from his Gem which may develop into a large tree in time. Curious she gently trailed her wing under the tiny leaves of this plant, inspecting what she managed to do with amazement, checking if it's a healthy one and not a mirage.
Pippy looked back at the other with a proud beam and a sparkle in his eyes. Look what he managed to do! Did they see it? Did they? He was about to verbalise those thoughts, but the gleeful expression on his face is probably enough right now, even if they didn't he knows he saw it happen and it put him in high spirits. Although from how they drew their breath in like that they most likely did see it.
Yay!
Seeing the other wanted what looks to be wishing for another demonstration of Magic from him, Pippy feeling very eager to please even more now give things another go. They won't be disappointed!
He gives it a try, but unfortunately, he tried to see if he can cast a Spell a different way, trying to think about something such as an idea for a new Spell while focusing on his Gem but nothing came of it. Does he only have one Spell? He feels dejected for letting them down but not as bad as previously, but Pippy's ears still droop with his eyes downcast.

Pippy forced herself to look up again at the other Gembound nervous now as she could almost sense the bigger Gembound's disappointment in her failure in trying to draw out Magick and bring a Spell to fruition. Hearing them sigh as well made Pippy feel bad, her guilt was pretty nefarious on her right now, closing her eyes with a pained expression as they looked away from her. Perhaps she should practice in her den with Magick before showing it off to others; stage fright won't affect her that way after all.
"Bye...", she said her tiny voice sounding more diminutive than usual, that it was lost in the mist never to be found by other Gembound's hearing as the other Gembound turned to leave Pippy. Not wanting to give up the possibility of a new friend still, she decides to give her Magick one last attempt, going over to them trying not to wake them she looks to the ground and concentrates on her Gem, hoping to make another plant sprout. Pippy was a little startled at first like some loud noise got blasted into her ears, as light from seemingly within her fruit seed Gem shone through this time. The light stained the ground with beautiful, swirling bright colours again but some of was shining on the face on the sleeping Gembound, so she quickly shifted her body so that the light was out of their face. The shine once again helped encouraged a plant to grow as another little sapling managed to poke itself out from underground very close to the other Gembound who thankfully is still asleep.
With this Pippy felt a bit better, she lets this be a little goodbye gift for the other Gembound that they might see after Pippy leaves. With that all said and done, feel a bit more confident, Pippy goes to slip away herself, albeit slowly, giving a few more glances to the other who went to sleep and her little present to them before shuffling back to her haven with no scary looking trees known as her den.
