Infecting everyone, you're quite the problem
The newly-named Envy nodded, and yawned once again, pink tongue showing between needle-like fangs. It huddled closer to the large cat keeping them warm and safe. "I hope it happens soon," they told Aaliyah, as they cuddled close. They were lulled further by the feel, the sound and the warmth provided by her licking their downy fur, even though it already seemed clean and fuzzy.
"I am... Envy," they repeated, stretching out small paws, though clearly they had little clue what the name actually entailed. They imagined to themselves that they felt better already, though they knew for a fact it wasn't true; their throat was beginning to burn and their breath smelled metallic. Their belly bubbled and churned, and a hint of nausea rose up in their throat. Envy gulped it down. But they still felt better than they had since first awakening. Perhaps things would be okay, in the end.
Another small yawn. Their breaths gradually grew slower, and within minutes Envy had dropped off into a restless but much-needed sleep.

"Speech."
"Thoughts."
