Sebastian grinned, happy to see the older Puma smile. He liked making him happy! Did he like making all Gembounds happy? Or was it just Rift? He'd have to find out, he suppose. The Puma cub cocked his head, watching the other seem to search for something.

Almost as though to agree, the cub gave a big yawn, especially for such a small creature. "Alright." he yawned again, tailing the tawny-furred Puma. When the other laid down, he did the same, curling up against the other's side. "Sweet dreams." he murmured.

"I'm speaking..."
'I'm thinking...'

Rift purred as the cub settled next to his side. He gave Sebastian another lick before resting his head on his paws. He was excited for the coming day when he would take his new friend to his home. He wondered how they would react - would they be happy? Would he love it? Or would he hate it and burn it away? No, Sebastian wouldn't do that. Maybe he had fire magic but he wouldn't intentionally burn plants...right?

No, he wouldn't. With happy thoughts, Rift drifted off to sleep.
